Amazing , can you do live milling with c axis ?

As a fellow LinuxCNC user - I know just how long that must have taken to get right 😃 Very nice work!

thanks! the main issue was getting the turrets to index reliably as they were rusted badly inside... :( otherwise it was pretty straightforward. this config is severely limited without 2 independent g-code channels which is hard to do with the linuxcnc currently. i hope i'll get an opportunity to work on it

Which io card are you using? are the drivers original traub? original cnc must have tx8i computer
@m3rkwurdigliebe Жыл бұрын
yes, TX8i is a mitsubishi meldas 500. using my own interface cards - two YMDS2P (yurtaev.com). yes the drives are original mitsubishi MDS-x-V/SP

@@m3rkwurdigliebe you are perfect👍 How many axes does your interface board support? Which servo motors does it work with? and how much is the price? we have a traub tnk 28

@@israfilcaglar9216 the card has a single channel, so it supports 7 drives - the max the control protocol allows. had to use 2 cards with this traub. i can work with pretty much every mitsubisi motor/drive except mr-j2-*ct. please email me if you are interested...

I don't even have a lathe and I want those configs!

it's far from finished yet, 2 turrets were just mapped to ZX/WU axes. very limited usability actually. when i have time and a bit of inspiration - i'll clean up and put all my linuxcnc configs on github

Respekt...das mit LCNC umzusetzen, dazu braucht es schon dicke Eier und jede Menge Zeit. Magst was zu der verbauten Hardware sagen und zu den beiden Hauptspindeln?!

the 2nd carriage UW plane is pretty limited: no G2/G3 support, no spindle sync moves and maybe something more. and of course ideallay the controller need 2 separate channels... ask me if you want to know something specific
