I prefer the M4, I think its better in all categories, and when you adjust the grind it beats the F1 hands down, not to mention the materials are significantly superior

With a proper reprofiling/sharpening Lionsteel M4 performs better than the F1. Cuts better, slices better, makes better feathersticks and so on. Also I find it's handle, to be the best handle I ever had on any knife, while the F1 is ...meh one of my worst. Show your sheath to Lionsteel, they will probably send you a knew one!

Ich habe beide gekauft. Das LionSteel m4 ist bei mir geblieben. Ist für mich persönlich das bessere und schönere Messer🤘😉

The Lionsteel is not a Full tang, it is skeletonised, it has a big rectangular hole under the handle scales, and this is very bad as it makes the knife weak and it also means that water, sweat can penetrate into this hole and rust can develop, and this is from the inside of course so it can develop unseen and then it can break. To make sure that this does not happen regular removal of a handle scale is required to check that rust is not developing. Of course M390 is very corrosive resistant but it will still rust, especially if sweat penetrates into the hole under the handle scales as sweat contain salt which is poison to steel. Falkniven I have no time for, too much hype, too expensive. I have tried the F1 but find that a Cold Steel CPM 3V SRK is a better a cheaper alternative. In cos is definitely better in edge holding, but it's also more expensive. The F1 is really a good knife, a good design

@@zoroutdoor9 buongiorno, che cosa ne pensi dei coltelli di Takeshi Saji? Ho notato che sono diventati introvabili ( quelli da bosco ), mi sapresti indirizzare nell acquisto? Grazie : )

@@titojr6814 usati in Italia sono molto rari da trovare. Conviene sentire la coltelleria collini di Busto Arsizio, anche per telefono. Loro sono gli unici rivenditori in Italia dei coltelli di Takeshi, anche io l'ho preso da loro. I prezzi sono altini, ma parliamo di custom giapponesi, quindi è normale che sia così, la loro moneta e i costi di importazione sono abbastanza svantaggiosi per noi. Quanto al modello dipende da che cosa stai cercando e quanto è il budget. La nata in Giappone è considerata uno strumento agricolo, economico, quindi è abbastanza abbordabile, ma è di semplice fattura. Un bowie di Takeshi o un coltello da caccia in stile samurai hunter sono pezzi molto costosi

@@zoroutdoor9 grazie della risposta. In realtà la collini li ha terminati quindi presumo sia impossibile trovarli. Ho visto hai recensito un coltello taglia legna, di takeshi , lo consiglieresti ?

@@titojr6814 Collini li ordina ciclicamente, se li senti per telefono ti ordinano quello che vuoi, è l'unico modo. Anzi se hanno richieste di solito piazzano più ordini in una volta sola, perchè dal Giappone è dura. Comprare da solo da un sito Giapponese è una follia, i costi, i tempi, la dogana... sconsigliatissimo. Come dicevo dipende da che cosa cerchi e per fare cosa, la nata ha il bisello asimmetrico, non è un chopper normale.
