I put skiffs on mine & it made the front flipper sooooo easy. I can literally front flip it with my index finger now, which I couldn’t before because the detent was too strong. With he smoothness of the skiff bearings it flies open now. I love the sound too. It sounds like a chain gun with a ratcheting noise on the skiffs.

Great to see the detent fixed. I have the untouched detent from the preorder that was on the better side of things. Hopefully when I tune it it will be more like yours 🤞🏻.

Yeah I was really happy overall I’ve played with the lock bar some and it’s pretty easy to add or take away detent pressure I’d say you can get it how you want it without much issue

Nice video man knife looks dope and it's detent doesn't even seem bad at all so that's dope, btw you planning on getting one of the new Chaves Kickstop 229s, I would love to see your video on it because it looks right up your alley and I'm interested to see a close up of it :)

I was really looking at them I actually picked up the arcane design crypt that dropped yesterday so that will be coming soon It may be a few weeks if I do end up with a kickstop lol

@@AvengeGaming3 yeah I did the satin with pvd handles. It was a tough decision between that and the all stonewashed version lol. I’ve got a stonewashed crawler so I deciding against it

@Smokymountianknifelover I actually reached out to liong himself last night and he confirmed that the detent issue was solely on the pre orders. He even asked if I was going to blade show. Such a sweet guy. He gets my business for sure

Looking to buy one in dark matter carbon but scared of spending $425 and getting one with a weak detent…. What should I do??

I believe all knives that went to the dealers were fixed. Mine had an amazing detent. Order from somewhere the will qc check the detent for you. I got mine from rivers edge cutlery worst case you can return it but I think you’ll like it if it’s anything like mine is
