100%, the lions were facing a significant uphill battle to say the least. There was only every going to be one outcome in this situation.

Lions don't stand a chance -- there are at least three adult rhinos, one of which has a very long horn. Easier, well-fed prey in the vehicles.

I get it's a joke but don't lions consider humans in a vehicle as just part of the vehicle? This confuses me because I see this comment all the time but then I also see lions attacking people in vehicles and actually showing affection to them in other videos.

Those lions are so intelligent keeping their distance and looking for any weaknesses in the rhino's. They realised there was no chance, so avoid injury.

Incredible sighting! Nicely captured! 2 of the big 5 facing off each other! Both of them amazing in their own right in this face off. Just wish the lions leave out the rhinos due to their endangered status. But, nature takes its own course...

Thank you so much 🙏💪 I must admit this was very entertaining to watch and also very intriguing behavior. It certainly seems to a be a behavior quite specific to this Pride of lions. In this case, we could see the lions weren’t going to have any form of success so it enabled us to be able to sit back and just enjoy the interaction.

Aquí no hay ni rastro de batalla. Sólo se ve a un grupo de Rhinos molestados, ni siquiera asustados, por una manada de leones que nada pueden hacer. Incluso vemos a un león macho que directamente ni se molesta en dedicarle ni un segundo a intentar cazar a un adolescente rhino. Hemos contemplado de todo a 2024, pero seguimos sin ver caer en una cacería a un Rinoceronte. ❤🦏❤

There is no way lions can attack with success and kill an adult rhino and an adult hippo at all. First of all their hide is not easy to penetrate unlike most of other animals. But they can successfully kill an adult giraffe by toppling it down with giraffes being wobbly!

Fully agreed, it would have to be a sick or injured rhino/hippo. However, anything is possible with the super pride in Bots.

They can kill adult hippo and rhino if male lion really wanted but there is cost of heavy injury so they option others.

The only carnivores that can kill a rhinoceros are a pack of hyenas or a giant nile crocodile. The rhinoceros is too much for the lions to handle. The lions don't have the teamwork or great power to defeat the rhinos.

There is absolutely no reason to believe a pack of Hyenas can do what a pride of Lions can't! LOL. Nile Crocodiles don't even mess with Hippos who are smaller than Rhinos and you put them in a category where they can kill a Rhino? Jeez...

The crocodile would be flying from the river. That thing has power and at low gravity.
