Mine and an M4 come with a very big sharpening angle, around 30 degrees per side. I had to return the M4 for factory faults and the Barlow is with grinding and scales problems. Great steel but it will not but any more Lionsteel.

mine was added crazy steep angle about 25 degrees per side I laid my back to about 20 degrees per side which was quite a chore even with a 50 grit Diamond Stone on my kme and came out pretty straight and clean except for the tip looking a little fat and wide just because of the geometry of the blade but all in all Cuts much better than it did from Factory now with a laid-back angle

When you were doing the stropping on the knife, did you remove the pervious compound from the leather wheel?

Hi! I got the Roundhead spear point from Collectors Knife (2nd run) with black cf (like the one in your video). Liked it so much that I have in early reserve the new clip point version in white carbon fiber. It’s called the Shuffler. The prototype version in Collectors Knife does not make it justice. Being a modern traditional I think it looks better with modern material scales instead of the bone, wood or stag. Those look better in fully traditional pocket knives like Great Eastern Cutlery IMO. Still love my CRKs and modern folders but these modern traditionals are a good all around, usually people friendly knives. Great video and good approach to knife enthusiasts. ⚔️

That is one beautiful knife. I've seen people mention micarta in the comments. I have a lot of good knives but the Steel Will Gekko 1551 is near perfection. Have you tried one yet ? Micarta scales, crowned spine, lock bar and back spacer. F&F is excellent. Now the downside, N690 steel and $170.. However, for me it's worth the money. I don't mind the N690. It's treated well and I think would do better in your cut tests.. I have M390, S110V, 20CV, ZDP189 etc. I avoid the 8CR stuff.. Even AUS8 isn't too bad.. I don't know what everyone cuts that needs friggin M390.. Yeah, it's nice to have but the knife quality and corrosion resistance are more important to me...

I wish I cud get my hands on that type of knife I'd even trade a knife or two

At first glance it looks like alot like the Fällkniven GP. I've been avoiding that knife because of the how Fällkniven charge you an arm and a leg for outdated materials and less than perfect craftsmanship. The fact that they bumped thier prices by some 40% recently spells HYBRIS. This similiar Italian made knife really puts Fällkniven to shame.
