Nothing better than a fixed blade, always reliable if needed! Plus have a Benchmade in your pocket!

I researched for a 1st fixed knife for 2 weeks, have 16 folders. Bought the T5 this morning. I’m a city guy, will find uses in the garage or outside, lol…had to have it‼️

I just bought this Blade , you don't really appreciate that handle until you hold it , it's Frickin Awesome , I have XL Hands and sometimes have problems with handles being too small but this handle fits Great . Also , that weird stuff on the back of the Sheath is Molle and it's to attach the Sheath to the outside of a Vest or Backpack , that particular Molle looks like it would be really hard to weave it through , hope this helps ....👍🖖

Niolox has nthing to do with D2, it's a stainless steel not a tool steel that D2 is. Also it will hold it's edge probably a bit longer, as also won't be as fragile as D2 is especially on the edge. It will take a finer edge too, with way smaller carbides than D2, means will cut smoother than D2. I guess you heard it somewhere, it's not your fault, however, the misinformation on KZfaq when it comes to fixed blades, is a big cancer. Some great examples: KZfaq marketing, has turned people to believe, that it's the steel that counts the most on a knife, when it's the opposite, it's the heat treatment, then the geometry and design of the blade and bevels and lastly the steel itself. I would say, that even handle and sheath are more important than steel. Another example, you ask someone if he likes his new knife, just because you also want to get the same one, and he replies "Yeah ,man, it can baton!!!" That knife batoning nonsense, which has also become a No1 use of a knife, after KZfaq brainwashiing people, is another cancer that KZfaq is responsible for. And that's only 2, it's way worse than that....Folding knives KZfaq world, is another thing, not such bullshit there.

Well thanks for clearing that up. I’ve spoken MANY times about not caring about the steel and that the average person wouldn’t be able to tell if it wasn’t stamped on the blade so I’m truly not trying to sway anyone any which way because…..I don’t care. Yes there is a lot of bad info on the internet in general so I always hope people will watch several videos from different people on a knife before they make a purchase. I just try to pass on some info. Never trying to sway anyone in any direction.

@@DirkWerning I absolutely can vouch for that, you have always said that and respect that my friend. Yes, there's a lot of BS out there, and yes we are not enciclopedias or nowadays Google and do the best we could. Information in the comments is always welcomed, even debates, as long as they are expressed courteously and respectfully, As to what one wants to do with his/her belongings that's totally up to that person. Great vid my friend, I also appreciate your honesty about fixed blades and that you are getting to like them. 😁👍⚔️

The snap with the strap through the two nylon loops you don't know what they are for....are to attach it to a molle system if desired. It's kind of a nice extra feature.

I wish carrying a fixed blade was a normal thing in my area. I never see anybody carrying one in my neighborhood or at my job. I picked up a Fallkniven Embla and I never carry it, I only carry it at home sometimes. Let me know if you want to check it out, I think it's the pefect size for edc.

I always justify my unused fixed blades by saying they are art pieces. I could have a fancy vases/paintings or fancy knives. The T5 is as much a functional tool as a work of art.
