This was brilliant. Geri singing “if you want my future, forget my past” takes on a different meaning in the context of your creative narrative. It’s almost like she’s apologizing and asking forgiveness for (publicly) breaking up the group.

Geri, you & Melanie B were my heroes in the Spice Girls. I was so heartbroken when you left the Spice Girls in 1998. In a way, I believe that your departure was a blessing in disguise for the Spice Girls. I know, after sacking Simon Fuller, you girls were all tired. Forgive us, for being angry when you left the four remaining Spice Girls. We (as fans) didn't know all the shit that you went through, because you & the other four girls sold us the image of strong individual women through Girl Power. And we bought it. You and the other four were strong women. You girls managed to hide whatever problems you were dealing with at that time. Only after you left, we found out that Melanie C had some demons too that she had to deal with (😊 depression, eating disorder etc) & Victoria too was rumoured to have some issues about eating disorder etc (But I don't know if they were all true, I don't wanna know). We blamed you for being responsible of the spitting up of the Spice Girls. No one understand that the Spice Girls needed a break after your (Spice Girls) success in 1996 to 2000. We didn't understand that you & the girls were only human. I still believe after your departure, the other four remaining Spice Girls finally had the chance to sit down & decided to have a break & did the decisions to focus on their individual priorities, you girls only needed to have your own individual time after the phenomenal success that you've achieved. And THANK YOU for reuniting for us in 2007 & 2019. I love you Geri. I love Melanie B & I love the other three (Emma, Melanie C & Victoria) too. Wishing you all the girls. And please consider to do another reunion for us again, at least once. I still need to introduce you girls to my own children. I want them to get to know you lot & they need to listen to your music. I really really love your comment so much The 4 girls used to be very angry when Geri suddenly left, but actually the band was exhausted and tired after their glory, and they really wanted to be free on their own path (like Geri).

@@damdaung8369 Thank you 💋I have to say I noticed that name of yours in mostly every video that involves the Spice Girls here (in the pasts) in KZfaq. I think I know that name of yours, been seeing that particular name here & there before. We might've argued once or twice before about the information about the Spice Girls before. May I ask, if you're a Vietnamese? Sorry, if my question offend you, I didn't mean any harm. I'm Malaysian btw, my mother's from Leeds, England, she's biracial, just like Melanie B. So in my younger days, I could totally relate to Scary Spice, although I'm only half a quarter black woman. And I remember during an interview with Morgan Piers (I maybe got the wrong person, or spelt his name wrongly), Geri did say that, she had never apologize to any of the Spice Girl when she left because they were just young, they were nothing to be sorry for. And I remember reading some nasty comments in KZfaq on how Geri was selfish for never apologizing. But in Spiceworld Tour 2019, that Geri did apologize to the Melanies & Emma for leaving them in 1998. But we all know now, the reason Geri walked out on them. Geri deserve an apology from the Spice Girls fans who were so mean to her. They all praise Melanie C, but dissing the others. As a fan, it hurts to see that behavior. The Spice Girls were about a team. Just one Spice Girl is not enough to make her the Spice Girls. They're all about a vibe. Every 5 girl completes each other. They're like 5 different warriors with 5 different specialities in a war field 🇬🇧✌️

@@crazyspice3951 and you're right about your last opnion, that "Geri deserve an apology from the Spice Girls fans" Many fans were so disapointed and angry when Geri left in 1998, But whether Geri left or not, sooner or later Spice Girls would break up , because all members have planned to act in the band in a short time and then separate to go their own way (Mel B confirm that in interview with Larry King in 2014) So that Geri was NOT the reason why the band break up and nowaday, Geri always be the most important members of all the reunions of the band (in 2007-2008, 2016, 2019). Although she was the first one leaving the band, but she has been the last one to persuade the girls to come back to keep Spice girls alive until now So truly that Ginger was the best leader of spice girls, as the girls couldn't reunite without her. Do you think so?

This was perfectly created! From Geri intro, to incorporating her before Victorias verse! I literally shed a tear towards the end, where Victoria was on the screen on SpiceWorld 2019! This was excellent 😢❤

hi im angelee in october 2023 i had 2 grandmas that died it was sad for me when i think of my 2 grandmas i start to cry i miss my 2 grandmas they where in my life so i feel sad its not easy but im trying to stay strong when i cry i love both my grandmas it was hard for me to say good bye to my 2 grandmas

とても素敵な編集であの時のライウ゛行ったな、等も思い出しました。日本ではSPICEGIRLSの 来日公演はありませんでしたので遠征でロンドンやアメリカへライウ゛を体感しに行きました。彼女達の曲はいつまで色褪せない次世代にも愛される曲達ですね。

Those drums are just amazing right? That’s always been my fav version of goodbye. Followed very closely by the reunion I’m 07/08 version. The outro of that is bloody amazing. Great version here. Loved the effort put into it with the story winding throughout. Well done. 👍🏻
