Lipica - The Cradle of the Lipizzaner

11 жыл бұрынThe Lipica Stud Farm, established in 1580, is the cradle of the Lipizzaner horse. With the tradition of over 430 years Lipica is one of the oldest stud farms in the world, breeding Lipizzaner horses uninterrputedly since its establishment. Today it is home to more than 350 Lipizzaners and a well-known tourist destination. Visitors can join guided tours to the stud farm all-year-long. Among the most impressive and charming experiences in Lipica there are also the Performances of the Lipica Classical Riding School.

One of the most beautiful, graceful, and hypnotically amazing horse breeds on earth. I've loved them since I saw a film about them as a child. Thank you for this lovely video. May these perfect horses go on forever!

It may be established in 1580 but slovenian ride this horses for 1000 of years we create this horses not austrians they want to steal what dosent belong to them

It's a shame that the town of Lipica, along with many other towns/cities were taken from Hungary. Trianon.

Now, since when did Lipica belong to Hungary? Lipica historically lied within the Habsburg Crowland of Gorizia (part of Inner Austria).
