If your battery is remotely swollen find somewhere that will properly dispose of it. Always charge on non flammable surfaces. If you have a garage get a cinder block or two and set the batteries down inside the holes while charging. It will keep any fire contained more or less

The way i get rid off swollen Li-Po batteries is by burying them In sand and attaching a lightbulp to the output wires, once its totally empty i drop them off at a recycling center...much better than putting a nail trough it and letting it burn.

Not really those bags wont help much for any decent size lipo. You should look into a batsafe or if you dont want to break the bank get some ammo boxes, have to pull the seals of the ammo boxes though so pressure can get out. Look into it.

I used to charge LiPo RC car batteries both indoors and outside regularly back when I was heavily into RC hobbies. One time while camping I had a couple 3 cell LiPo's charging on a plastic table outside of my RV. One caught fire, and we saw it from a distance while out on the Kayaks. Luckely one of my buddies was nearish the trailer and herd us yelling and was able to run over and drag the table away from the RV. Table, both LiPo batteries, and both chargers were destroyed. Half the plastic table was melted. And a small portion of the side of the RV had fire damage to the paint. Had no1 been around I'm sure it would burnt down the RV. Ever since then I always charge outdoors. AWAY from anything that can burn, and I use LiPo bags.
