What kind of pump is that hose connected to? That sucka moves alot of water with some pressure.
@VaughnDallasVance3 ай бұрын
I don’t know the specifics of the pump but it’s at least a 100hp electric motor that pressurizes the water. It’s very powerful

You are the subject matter expert, I am not here to critique your work, I am here to watch GREAT CONTENT. I do have a couple of questions, if you don't mind. Is the facility you use for your company?, and when you have to use wood chips, does it cause more issues when cleaning? Does cleaning count against your rest time, and finally, what company requires you to have an almost spotless hauler. As I said, you are the subject matter expert, and you are taking the time to share your knowledge with us subscribers, so keep up the GREAT WORK.

The washout facilities are owned by other businesses or people who don’t haul livestock. Some ranches and feedlots, even packing plants have they’re own as well. The pumps that filter the waste can handle the wood chips, there are sometimes extra charges. There’s lots of places that require really clean trailers, but they will specify that beforehand. And my hours of service rules are really different from the avg driver so no it doesn’t count against off duty time

Is there a holding tank to use the manure as fertilizer for fields or gardens, it works great
@VaughnDallasVance3 ай бұрын
Yes there’s a settling pond where manure is repurposed for fertilizer

Just depends on how bad the trailer condition is where to start first. If the temperature is below 27. I will start on the bottom. Get the muck out fast starting from the back. Soon as the water hits you only have mins before it turns to ice. Usually I start soon as walking in pre soak walls on the way in at the top, rinse all muck out. Do the same on the bottom. With just the hose, no spray tip. Then put spray tip on. It all come off quick. I can have a bull wagon done in under 1 hour. We had one last night that had not been cleaned in over 6 months. It was like tar tryin to get out. The auger the recycles the water was having a hard time. Had it do under two hours. There id no reason any bull wagon should take more then 2 man hours. Unless you are trying to use a pressure washer. Seaboard foods uses pressure washers. It just makes a bigger mess. High volume is the only and best way to push weight. Simple math will tell you that. Much respect to you Dallas and all in this business. Not easy money feeding the world.
