If you use butter instead of oil for Castella cake, the texture of the cake is not as moist and delicate. And you can't use the scalding method to heat the butter.
I watched all your Castella cake vidoes. Taiwanese castella cakes are the most jiggling one. However, I've had some super creamy chocolate castella cakes in Taiwan. I wonder if you could make a vidoe which combines all the softest and creamy chocolate cake such as " Taiwanese Castella Chocolate Creamcheese cake," please? May I know the size of a round baking pan for this recipe instead of loaf pan please? 6-inch or 8-in round? Thank you in advance ^_^

If 6 inch round pan, 60% of this recipe. If 8-inch round, you can use this recipe without any change.
