Lishui may not be a household name, but this company is a powerhouse that is responsible for producing many of the controllers and other e-bike parts perhaps found in the e-bike you ride every day. I had the chance to tour the company's factory to see how they do it. Come along with me while we take a peek inside!

This series of Chinese factories visiting videos shows us the supply chain of the e-bike industry, including motor, controller, and bike manufacturer, all these factories are located within 100 miles diameter in Jiangsu province.

I can't help but wonder how all the workers commute to the factory. I'm guessing most take public transit and some utilize bikes, scooters, and motorcycles. If so, North Americans take note not everyone needs a car to get to work.

Almost every family in China owns at least an electric two-wheeler, even though some families already own cars. Electric two-wheeled vehicle has the advantage of parking, and its efficiency is higher than that of automobile in some occasions.

It might shock people to understand how much wages have risen for factory workers in China. An average factory worker makes 4 times that of a factory worker here in the Philippines.

Great Tour! That new wireless firmware/parameter configuration, leaves me a little wary about using that method. I'm thinking a hacker could wirelessly change the throttle settings and that could be dangerous. I prefer the hard wired connection for Firmware updating.

We Need A Kickstand Safety Switch wired into the brake/motor shutoff circuit! I'm lucky to be alive after a forgotten kickstand caused a wreck that resulted in a fractured C-1 vertebrae, ie, Broken Neck Some may have sued but I was happy to be alive...

In order to relate to the controller and how it’s important to I need to know what bikes use Lishui controllers and how it impacts performance. Otherwise this is just a video about a Chinese company that makes a nondescript aluminum box that lives inside your bike.

I hope U$ will ban all these chinese ebikes, due to National Security Threat. That way all these lovely tech can go to people of the global south at very affordable price.
