I decided that my winter & holiday island just simply wasn't cutting it... so let's go with an entirely different concept. Come along with me while I renovate all of my villager's houses to reflect my new island theme.

I think some of the builds you already had for the Christmas theme could still work really well for Valentines Day!! Maybe just a few little changes to make them more Valentines themed. The hot chocolate truck comes to mind, seeing as Brewster gives you hot chocolate on Valentines Day. I also think the ice rink could be really cute with some string lights and flowers! For new builds, maybe you could do a little plushie shop or a restaurant!

Where you have your flower feild you should make a candle lit dinner with a round cloth table, 2 chairs across eachother horizontally and a candle in the middle😍

For valentines furniture you could use the cute set! It’s all hearts and cute. The cute sofa could replace the retro bus stop thing, I forget what the item is actually called lol.

A valentine’s island is such a cute idea!! It’s also so interesting to see the differences in our villagers’ jobs, because Lyman is my favorite villager, and on my island, he has a restaurant that looks like a rainforest cafe, and *Melba* is the one that runs the flower shop 😆 Also power to you for taking the time to spruce up your island for not only Christmas, but also Valentine’s, I wish I had the motivation to spice it up for every holiday/season

omg i did a v-day winter island last year and it was so cute that i didn’t mind it being that way until the summer HHAHAHA. i even made a romantic beachside restaurant using lots of the hello kitty tables and stuff

love the valentines theme, so cute!! the last island theme I tried over a year ago was a very like brownstone old new york dark academia vibe and I never finished, probably bc the brown everywhere was honestly depressing. so I said fuck it, and after not playing for three months have spent all weekend destroying my old island to replace it with a cute rainbow wonderland and I am having an amazing time

Love what you did with all the yards but... when you said Punchy was painting love letters I just kept thinking that actually, he was probably colouring Valentine's day cards. Like I totally feel like cutting them in heart shapes and colouring them sounds a lot like a lazy villager thing because it's a bit messy.

also i think the black tulips and cosmos would work well in the gardens if you're looking for more contrast. I think browns and reddish blacks are the underrated heroes for valentines day, so I think they'd work very well!
