if your floors ever seem empty, i just recommend using manhole covers, it actually does that job well, and it’s just satisfying to see the ground feel like it’s something more than just a floor

Happy Birthday Liss🎉🎁‼️ I don’t know if anyone recommended this yet but maybe you can add like a little valentines gift shop that has like those heart bears and gifts for sale(u can use the gifts from the flying ballons😁)or maybe they can even sell flowers! Just in general like a mini store where people can buy valentine gifts for their significant others and cute stuff like that🧸:)

When I first saw the vintage dresser, my immediate thought was little post office boxes. Ended up making a post office on my island a few months back because they are just so cute!

I agree you should add scattered papers with love letters on them! Love these builds and for the awkward area with the bench maybe you could replace the red iron fence with a diff color of the fence item? Also maybe around the island you could use some cherry blossom petal piles idk I think they’d slay

Personally I’d change the pink checkered design at the cafe for a design with pink and red in it that way it still ties into all the other pink but gives it a pop of red

Happy Birthday! Island looking great! Maybe on the awkward area by the museum add a pink or red camellia bush which are totally in bloom in the winter and would add a bit more greenery. Ain't nothing wrong with adding a bit more bush I always say 🌺

15:17 the gingham pattern suits the area really well so personally I wouldn't change that, but maybe to add a hint of red, you could change the espresso machine to the red variation, and then use the red wrapping paper to make red gifts to place as gifts. You could also use the hello kitty potted plant as extra decoration

15:07 a curtain pole with a red plaid design would look so so cute between the storefront + desert case !!!! plus the curtains only use up a half square so it wouldn't take up much more room ^.^

my suggestion for the awkward zone at the cafe is move the wedding fence down a tile, extend it to the beach and put some maybe flower beds or those plant boxes in front! so like filling out the awkward space with a thicker wall and then maybe you can get rid of the seating area altogether and have that just be a walk through to the beach :) LOVE everything else u did, the colours and designs are sooooo cute 😍

For that awkward area you could try turning the bench and fencing so they will be facing right instead of forward, and/or getting rid of the fence and adding another small flower bed behind the bench to match the one next to the museum. Another idea is to make a little playground or add a carnival ride, imo it will go well with the cafe and museum (especially since you can customize them to be pastel!)

Public bench area idea: maybe it leads to a lil something on the beach? Like if there was a romantic lil picnic spot and you could sit on the bench while you put your shoes back on, etc

I think a cute tea table in the corner above the red fence/public bench could be ... well, cute! maybe with a cream and sugar on top? would extend the coffee shop down a bit, and fill the space so the bench looks more reasonable

Love this island theme! ❤ Definitely agree with the scattered papers for the post office, that will be the best finishing touch! You could also wrap some gifts using the pink or red wrapping paper and drop them in some areas 😊

Happy bday!! I'm obsessed w the post office , I have a couple areas that need to be filled on my island and I definitely will be taking that idea. I was thinking ab a crafting area but I like the post office too so I'll probably combine them. Also you could put a lil plant in that awkward walkway by the cafe, maybe a potted cherry blossom tree?
