This is so cute! I'm working on a no terraform/no custom design island and it's been so much fun! It definitely lifts off some of the pressure when you get overwhelmed with everything.

I don't really terraform myself and I totally understand a little bit of terraforming for inclines and bridges. On my main island, almost all of it has not been touched. Except for adding a tiny waterfall and pool and then fixing a river so a diagonal bridge could fit. Sometimes the starting islands just don't always work /lh /gen

Your advice at the end is on point. I can't do custom designs and clutter layouts (your island is BEAUTIFUL but I just couldn't do it) and not doing those things makes the game much more fun and gives it lots of longevity.

That was an excellent tour! It's very creative and artistic. So many good ideas and beautiful builds.

I also started with the exact same map layout as you (with a little differences on the beaches ) and also did very minimal terraforming. I restarted so it was also my second island, I had spent over 1000 hours in my first terraforming, so wanted to spend less time this go around. It’s so awesome to see what you’ve been able to do with the island, and inspires me to finish. I just gotta do an outdoor food court area and also finalize villager houses and my own. I’d love to have you visit 🥳💕

I absolutely love your video as I’ve had to start animal crossing all over again as my last island I was getting so stressed out over terraforming and trying to make it look perfect just like on Pinterest or KZfaq and in the end it was not doing me any good so I made the decision to get an island that I loved the layout so it took me about four times of uploading and seen different islands before I got the right island. I know that I am now having to start from scratch and build my way up but I’m hoping in the end it will be for the best. i’m not going to lie to you but I won’t do just a little bit of terraforming I May add a little bit to the waterfalls if it works and like you said am I have to do a slight bit to get my inclined to look right but I am hoping this island will be stress free and that I will enjoy playing the game.

Honestly I love this and I’m kinda sad that I tore my entire island down when I got terraforming. But I am going to strip it down back to basics and kinda reset it.

I wish I could reset my island, like keep the island I have and all the stuff iv collected, just have it go back to how it was naturally. Doing no terriform would be so fun!
