Much better video. You could have included the USS Franklin, clearly stating that she did not sunk; but the amount of damage and the fight to save the ship is worth telling.

I stop watching after the icon you used for the Lexington was a Kitty Hawk class supercarrier. Not worth even bothering with the rest if you can’t get little details like that right.

@@richardnoah2922 the problem is that you see this so much in presentations these days. People not caring about little details, that I personally find infuriating as someone who loves history. The other day I was watching one about the SBD Dauntless. During the course of the video, maybe one shot in six, maybe one shot in seven, was actually a picture of a Dauntless. The rest of them, even while saying that it was a particular version of the Dauntless were pictures of T-6 Texans and other sorts of aircraft that somewhat resemble the Dauntless. I find that infuriating where the person is trying to say they’re presenting factual history but don’t care enough to get the correct picture of what they’re talking about on the screen. I’m aware it’s nitpicking, but when it comes to history nitpicking is a huge part of the job. If you don’t want to do that, no problem , go make some kind of entertainment video, or other presentation that is entertaining and enjoyable, but doesn’t rely on facts. Present history accurately or don’t present it.

It would have been a miracle for the USS Yorktown to survive the Battle of Midway even if she wasn't hit by the submarine. She got hit by two strikes, both bad enough the Japanese reported sinking TWO carriers at Midway. Plus she was still not completely repaired from damage taken at Coral Sea. The sub just delivered the coup de grace.

She was stable until hit by the submarine. Heavily damaged but stable.

The Japanese were notorious for reporting ships sunk during the war. If we had lost half as many as they claimed sunk, we would still be fighting the war. Just because there is smoke and flames doesn't mean the ship is sinking. Yorktown would have survived if she had not been torpedoed by the submarine.

OK, worst video I've ever seen on this topic !!! 1. USS Langley was not an Aircraft Carrier at this Time, it was a Seaplane Tender 2. Uss Langley truely sunk on 27. Febuary, but the battle of Coral see is from 7. to 8. May 1942 !!! 3. this is not a Lexington Class Carrier in this List, Its a Kitty Hawk Class Carrier !!! 4. in this List USS Princton was sunk on 15. September 1945 !!! 5. Kamikaze is not a Bomb like you say, it a Suicide Attack !!! 6. You say USS Bismarck, it is the USS Bismarck Sea !!! PS: Dont let an AI talk in a Video, im thinking that is not your Original Voice !!! DISLIKE !!!
