could of built more destroyers with the failure or literal combat ships and zumwalt .could of just built 20 regular destroyers with all that money

Zumwalt armed with hypersonic weapons could actually be really useful though. Just because of how shallow I can get and how fast it can go if it's truly Low observable it could be effective using hyper Sonic long-range weapons or I could just crumpled up and sink who the fuck knows

US navy should have atleast 100 units of those destroyer and also 100 units of those future frigates they are building and should maintain atleast 12-15 units of their R. Ford class aircraft carrier to counter the Chinese fast growing naval fleet and also I would like to add the US navy should also start to build corvettes to serve as and do a mission for both littoral combat ship and patrol vessel for them to defend the waters inside their territories (inshore and offshore)

Why do they keep saying the Arleigh Burke class is reaching finality - there is no more room for growth? Add fifteen more feet to the bow. There would be room for a 90 cell missile launcher and still have room for growth.

Because the hull design doesn't have space for upcoming weapon systems and radar upgrades, not to mention direct energy weapons are being rolled out but older ships don't have the power systems or generators to field them and so completely new ships have to be designed in order to have all these things plus more space for future upgrades.

US Warships and.other weapons and war machines are.always over rated understandably because it is a business for the US MIC. Produced it as cheap as possible and market it as the best in the world. A good example is the F 35. Producing anything cheap means you get a cheap and not so good product.
