Yup metacritics are terrible starfield should be around 60s and spiderman should be in 80s.

Well we were promised a space exploration rpg from Bethesda when it comes to StarField.. what we got was barren loading screen of a game instead.

Half of the loading screens are 1-2 seconds long. Stop exaggerating 😂 I can travel to different systems in the same amount of time. Stop being a 🤡

@pillokun I've spent 10 hours finding locations and based on a single planet. There are plenty of generated spots, but I would not call it little.

Good job. It shows you need to stick with one or a few reviewers you trust. The best reviews don't even give arbitrary numbers.

I bought a Xbox Series X for Starfield! The first Xbox in my live! And i must say it was the greatest mistake of my live! Starfield is a avarage Game with outdated tech and i would say its a 7/10! It was good for one run but its realy not a 8 or 9 out of 10! I hope it will be like Cyberpunk, in 3 years and some patches the game can become great!

The entire premise of this video is bonkers. I thought this video might be focusing on the discrepancy between the genuine average of scores versus the weighted average that Metacritic uses (last I knew) or questioning which outlets are counted or something. Instead, you're concerned that some reviewers have different opinions, some of which lie outside the average? Is that supposed to be a bad thing? What do you imagine reviewers should do? Scores are supposed to reflect their opinion based on their experience, and they don't normally know how other reviewers are going to evaluate a game, and if they did, it would irresponsible for them to let that influence their score. Apparently you want them to imagine the consensus, guess the standard deviation, and then score within that range so that...what...you can feel slightly better about Metcritic scores?

Oh Starfield doesn't even deserve an 86 lol. That game is as mid as it gets. Spiderman 2 deserves maybe an 80. It's basically a glorified expansion. Definitely not worth 70 bucks. Pretty sure it takes maybe 10 hours to B line the main story. That's actually shorter than Phantom Liberty.

I wouldn't be opposed to a massive shift in scale of scores. If mid is "70" then let's be consistent across the board. I've tried to use the Phantom Liberty example and in posts on Twitter but people just say "oh, it's an expansion, you can't use that," completely proving my point

Yep. Wow: cataclysm was just an expansion as well but it fundamentally changed every part of the game, even for people that didn't buy the expansion. You can't take reviews from a previous major patch

Metacritic is an aggregate of different reviews given to something, they don't give out a score/rating themselves. Did you not know that? Do you also think that Rotten Tomatoes gives out scores?

Their aggregate number they present itself is skewed. By their own weighting of scores, inclusion of outlets that aren't credible, and sampling bias across platforms. Did you even watch the video?

@@TheTerk i just discovered it recently, and only looked at it once or twice. so i can't say, but it's supposedly better, so i was wondering if that is true
