Big Trouble in Little China Audio Commentary otherwise known as Kurt Rusell and John Carpenter shooting the shit for 2 hours.

Listen to John with Kurt in this, Escape and The Thing commentaries- such a good hangout between two cool dudes making art and entertainment. Then listen to the Starman commentary with Jeff Bridges and the vibe is even more friendly and funloving. I know many in my generation give boomers a hard time, but goddamm the hippy generation seems to know how to keep their sense of humor and being down to earth.
@curiositytax93607 ай бұрын
Just calling someone a boomer instantly makes you a prick. Would you label a person who is black the n word? So why do you use boomer to generalise an entire age group. It’s fucking dumb

23 minutes in, the discussion turns to who was the lead and who was the sidekick. I am on the BTILC facebook page and we discuss this quite a bit. Personally, I never thought of the movie as "lead" and "sidekick" I thought it was two friends who had each others backs no matter what. But, I must add that I am also an idiot. Jack and Wang together just fucking worked for me big time. I own VHS/DVD/youtube/amazon copies of it. We were talking about why it wasn't a bigger hit, but if you look what came out at the same time, and how much better the other movies were marketed, you see how this movie got screwed. I saw an ad for it in a martial arts catalogue after the cinematic run was over, and had to rent it at blockbuster. (remember those doods ?) I watched it over and over till I passed out. My GF Yvonne thought I lost my mind. HAHAHAHAHA
