Cameron said Storm Shadows can be used against Russia, then when their ambassador was called and told that British targets would be hit outside Ukraine, and Russia did a nuclear drill, Cameron climbed down and took off that tweet. The proof that Britain is doing a great job is when it sends troops to Ukraine and strikes Russia with missiles. You think they have the guts when the US does not have it ?

Shoigu was a civilian economist his entire life after graduating and only that. His buddy gave him a nice economic bureau chief position before moving him into Defence in 2016. He has absolutely zero military training or background. That's what dictators do - they position threats far from them. Soldiers are more inclined to follow a real General in a coup, one they respect and admire over some moronic lapdog with 0 experience and did not earn the position as they would. The MoD is the most powerful position next to their FSB divisions and wise for a dictator to partition. On top of that , Gerimov, the Chief of Staff outside of the MoD, is running the warfront operations.

Grant Schapps is the man who gave me the term ..Cyberpunk...a man who is trying to save himself from a lowly, shameful assessment... The incredible thing is it just came to mind..and I had to Search the term and found Cyberpunk 77 a game & the objectiveis to save yourself from a shameful position. This aligns perfectly with Grant Schapps and his attempt to talj down Russian gains and British embarrasment.

It's almost humorous how foolish politicians are on the subject of Israel. Palestinians as as a group have never given any indication that their priority is peace and prosperity. Getting rid of Jews and Israel always emerges as the priority, no matter what Israel does. Israeli governments understand this and do what they have to do and they do it as humanely as they can under the circumstances. Sometimes there are no solutions to problems, only practical mitigation, and it's about time idiots stopped thinking that Palestinians would play nice if the Israelis spent all day feeding them chocolate. Peace is in the hands of the Palestinian people, nobody else's.

@@danl5592 'But you don't have the resources or the army or the weapons to face Russia on the battlefield. You keep telling everyone that Ukraine is winning blah blah blah but they are already beaten and this will not end well.' They know this. If for one moment they thought they could win, they would have sent troops to Ukraine. The blah blah blah is because how else can they tell their public they got defeated ? The British and western psyche is colonial, they feel they are entitled to set the world order, they were used to it. Boris Johnson said 'we cannot allow Putin to win, as it will end the 'rules based international order'.' The rest of the world recalls how Britain invaded Iraq using fabricated claims of WMDs. The British created Israel by ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and they aid and abet genocide in Gaza. So what is this 'rules based international order' that the west follows ? Putin has ended their world order. The blah, blah, blah comes from helplessness over this.

It would be nice to actually believe something Grant Shapps says but, alas, his record is what actually speaks for him and it is not a truthful one. Shapps is the man who repeatedly denied that he had used an pseudonym - 'Michael Green' - and threatened to sue those who suggested he had - until The Guardian revealed that he had had a second job under this name for a year after he was elected as an MP in 2005. The second job? That of 'multi-million dollar web marketeer" who boasted in a audio recording that he could make listeners 'a ton of cash before Christmas'. Shapps is now what he was then - a snake oil salesman peddling what he wants his audience to hear.
