@Conrrado Torres just because your a pro fighter doesn’t mean you have an advantage? It means you have an absolutely huge advantage lol. Size doesn’t matter it’s been proven time and time again, being big and muscly puts you at a disadvantage as you’ll be slower, stiffer and you’ll gas out quickly, as muscles use a lot of oxygen to function, therefore making you tired quicker.

He's ability to acknowledge that he screwed up and couldn't fault his opponent for capitalizing on it shows real self-awareness without the victim mentality so many would have embraced. I met Golata in CO while I was skiing. Had a couple of beers with him and his wife and friends at Keystone. He was a super nice guy. I didn’t know at the time he was a pro boxer but you could tell there was something different about him. A quiet confidence . After he left to get some more beers his friends told me about his boxing career. BTW he was a pretty good skier as well.

I've always thought that the Golota low blow thing was due to mob interference. I think someone was telling Andrew that he had to throw the fight, but he couldn't bring himself to take a dive. Getting disqualified by punching Bowe in the nuts was a way for him to lose the fight without his ego getting hurt.

I went to find answers after seeing a short of the guy who turned away, they still titled it pretty much like the dude sucker punched him after the bell or something. Glad I looked it up for myself.
