@@suejohnson3972 I lost interest when they changed the Billy Abbot character I remember being so upset when they changed Billy just when he found out it was Adam who killed his daughter. It took me a while before I came back but I still can't watch the character Billy Abbot. I tried but I just fast-forwarded those scenes. I wish they would have had Billy go missing and brought someone New for Victoria.

Mine too. I kept hoping he’d come back to Y&R. I was so shocked and sad when I read of his death. Depression is an evil affliction that unless you’re living it, there’s no way you can understand it. RIP Billy Miller, you are loved and missed. ❤ 😢

@@user-fp2kt1le2e I did too! I cant watch any of other actors who played Billy. He really was irreplaceable. I read he was coming back to Y&R but that didn’t happen. I really wish I understood depression. Sometimes He seemed so very happy and full of life he was a natural he had great sense of humour. I never heard anything negative about him. I really believe he brought a lot of himself to the roll of Billy Abbot.

Met Jeanne Cooper when I worked at the Rio in Las Vegas, she would fly in after taping for the week was finished. She loved the slots. I worked graveyard so the floor was pretty quiet at 2-3 AM. But there would be Jeanne playing her favorite machines, talking to everyone who recognized her, including employees, she talked to me at length several times, and did this, which endeared her to the staff: She always took all the slot and cashier women, when they came off duty to breakfast at the Sao Paulo restaurant on site.

Billy Miller was on at the end of it. I know it was a segment about the actor's who were on the show, but William H. Bell Young and the restless/ Bold and the beautiful's creator should have been mentioned and tribute paid too him as well.❤

That first picture of "Grant Stevens" is incorrect. That is actor Jerry Douglas who played "JOHN Abbott". He passed away in 2016.

Pleins d'acteurs/trices que je ne connaissais pas. Les Feux de l'Amour, j'en étais un immense fan, je n'en ratais pratiquement aucuns épisodes, du début des années 90 jusqu'à 2020-21 quelque chose comme ça. Lorsque j'ai appris le décès naturel de Catherine Chancellor, ça m'avait vraiment mu et touché. Actrice principale dans le Soap. J'avais eu la chance de les croiser sur Paris , place du Louvre. Qu'ils/elles reposent en paix, ils ont bien faits rêver.

I loved Terry Lester he was one of my favourites too! I remember when Peter Bergen took over I loved him on AMC I thought how’s this going to work . He played a completely different character on AMC. Like magic it worked beautifully! Billy Miller was not replaceable They tried to replace an actor that played a part for 6 years who was so loved! Him and Amelia were a super couple at the time. In the middle of an important scene that we all were waiting for they changed Billy Miller character. I stopped watching Y&R I was turned off it took a couple of years before I went back and they have another actor that I loved on GH playing Billy. He can’t play Billy either I fast forward when he is on.

0:44 It's been more than 20y that I "co-watched" the series with my mom, *BUT* : the actor's picture, you are showing in here is *not* Philip Abbott, but *JERRY DOUGLAS* (who played Jack Abbott's father *JOHN ABBOTT* ); yes, there was at least one actor with the name of _Abbott_ in Y&R, but actor Philip Abbott wasn't looking like the series' role _John Abbott_ .

I live in Romania, but the television station that broadcasts this series stopped buying it. The series is very dear to me, the actor who plays Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) visited my country a few years ago and I know he was very pleased. I knew that Kristoff died of severe depression due to the death of his son, but I didn't know about Billy Miller. I deeply regret this loss!

Well, I guess you have to change your title or add the number to 53 now. Two of Y&R's alumni died this week. Meg Bennett who played Julia Newman and Marla Addams who played Dina Abbott.

I just notice, the actress Lynn Topping who passed away back in 2011 was not on this list. She portrayed or was recast as Chris Brooks on the show and was on Y&R for a few years in the late 70s up until the early 80s.
