About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

You will absolutely love Litchfield! Definitely one of our favourite national parks 🙌🏼 and absolutely install that snorkel to get to that waterfall, it was honestly incredible!

Oh yes the scone, I used to love scones but the last one I had put me off. However, after watching you guys I think I'll wat scones again. I love home made whipped cream 😋

WOW! Wangi Falls was sublime. It's postcard perfect beautiful. It looks like something you'd find on a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. It was faith you couldn't find a pool noodle to buy, 'coz where was one waiting for your at Wangi Falls. 😁

We love watching your videos as we will never get there , but you take us there which is amazing . As great as it is to have a water hole all to yourself, in the top end it pays not to be the first person in the water especially in the more remote locations. Watching Megan walk into that water hole made my blood run cold.

Hey mate we use a Sony A6400 we have seperate links to every bit of gear we use in the description of all our videos. The editing software we use is amazing and helps with stabilisation when we really need it to be perfect. We do use a gimbal some times when we really wanna get the perfect shot! In this video we did not use a gimbal it was all by hand 👍😊

Don’t forget to have your wheel beariings checked and regreased after those water crossings (don’t ask me how I know that this is important).

You're doing some really good camera work and the editing is top notch as well , very enjoyable to watch . Re. feeling the heat , ditch the T shirt and wear a loose fit open neck collar shirt , it'll help with air circulation around the torso . Also take the hat off if you're in the shade , a lot of body heat can escape from the head . Looking forward to the next one , take care :-)

Love the video guys and hope to do the travel around oz sometime soon. If we ever get out of lockdown here in Melb! We are up to number 6. How did you work out how much money you would need and what places to go? Do you have a budget for the whole trip? Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Not sure Im as brave as you though going in that water alone.

I assume you did this at the end very end of the NT school holidays when there were many people. Outside of school holidays it's pretty quiet other than weekends.

Are there any signs or warnings of crocs near those water holes?

Hey mate yes there are signs but it’s also a designated swimming area within the national park the day before we went it was packed with people! It’s a very low risk an checked by rangers regularly.
