Hi Jack and Megan, also happy birthday Megan🎉🎉🎉. I am late I believe but rather late then never😂. I have to say I love the show and it is amazing what you guys are doing. So I’m originally from South Africa and my home language is not English that is way my English might not be that delicious 😂🙈. Me and my wife immigrated to Canada and have been living here for over 2 years. I’m a photocopier technician for just about 12 years and have worked for only 3 different companies. My favourite btand of printers is Canon and OCE that is also owed by Canon now. Hope you guys the best and looking forward to seeing more videos to come. It’s been fun to follow you guys and to be part of the gurney even though we are not there. 😁

TPMS Absolutely essential, don't even consider not having them. Run them on all our business vehicles in NZ. Just been in your Red Center in an off road rental and the rental company did not supply so I took my own which saved us serious drama on the very first day of our hire. Peace of mind later with airing up and down. Have used a bunch of different brands, cheap and expensive, I used iCheck for our recent trip. Very good value.

Jack, TPMS is the way to go. If it saves you ruining one tyre then it’s paid for itself. I wouldn’t tow a van or large trailer without it now. Also vote for icheck. I was a farmer, then psychologist and now in my mid forties training as a mechanic working on beautiful and challenging classic cars.

I have a icheck TMPS which did save me a tyre. It was wet and windy towing day when I received alarm indicating I had an issue. I’m retired, 6 years in the army, truck driving, than going back to night school specialising in supply chain management, 30 years working for a beer company and I don’t drink.

Great to have you back! In an architect, working mostly on residential projects, but have worked on a few commercial jobs (bars, cafes, gyms, zoos). To chime in on the overrated question, unfortunately I think Byron Bay has become overrated. Its outlooks are still just as stunning, but it’s lost a lot of its charm from what it had 10+ years ago.

We have the biggest love/hate relationship with our TPMS. It is constantly loosing signal with the receiver and alerts us that we have lost a wheel etc (aka the hate), however it has saved us three potential blow outs over the last year of travelling aus with a caravan by alerting us to slow leaks, so we highly recommend having one. We have the oricom one - wouldn’t recommend, if I was to buy one knowing what I know now I would go the icheck (it has an offroad mode for when you drop your pressures)

Happy Birthday Megan hope Jack lashed out and spoiled you. Jack I've been using tpms and their great, manly for the peace of mind if anything happens to the van tyres I can be straight onto it. I use the Icheck brand and can't fault them. We thought you might of been off you tube due to Megan having a go at ya for the hole you put in the van, oh well. I work for myself looking after clients with mental health been doing it now for 20 yrs. Hanging out to see the finished van, keep up the good work.

Unfortunately, some jobs are best left to the experts. You really need excellent cabinetry skills to take on a project like this. Then there is the wiring and plumbing as well. Chassis Repairs are often needed also. It's not a cheap thing to rebuild. Stick with it as a long-term goal. It will be very rewarding in the end.

Hey Jack and Megan, good to see you back, yes we have missed you, Bobby and I have too many to go on about, but predominantly Bobby was a jack of all trades and a publican, and i started off with secretarial/office and then mainly hospitality/catering. Now we have thrown caution to the wind and given up work and made a sea change ❤plus travel. Everything will fall into place for you both, just take it step by step, Lyn & Bob x

I'm now a retired teacher, Physics, Chemistry and Maths (when required). Would not leave the garage without a TPMS. I've seen trailers driven on rims for kilometers shredding tyres and starting fires with the sparks. Best TPMS in my opinion iCheck. Happy birthday Megan. Good luck with the remainder of the build. Always like watching your authentic videos.

You guys are great love the videos and wonce your got the caravan perfect and it suits ya needs its your home , better than a house , its mobile can take it places and change the scenery at any time , having a bub might change things in the future but theres always bigger caravans out there one day to buy to expand the family 😊 the way house values are going up its impossible for the next generation to buy one sadly and rental prices are rediclus , so you guys are on a good thing a roof over ya heads and out on adventures enjoying life ❤ and happy birthday 🎉🎉

Happy birthday Megan.. I'm a stay at home dad atm. I did reno an 83 viscount gt last year to travel from Toowoomba Qld with my young family to see my older 2 kids in Melbourne which we hadn't seen in 3 and a half years because of the crap that went down in 2020. I took then along the Great Ocean Road and onto Mt Gambier SA. Even though they have lived in Melbourne since 2015 they hadn't seen or been near it. It was well worth the trip and was up there on my bucket list to drive, tick. Can't wait to see the rest of the van build.

Hi Jack and Megan, Happy Birthday Megan! It is good to see you together again. I am glad Megan that you simply spent a lovely time with your mother in Japan. I have been following you for some years and have been loving the meticulous work you have done on the caravan. I have worked in administration, as a manager, secretary, personal assistant and executive assistant. I have worked in television and film, studied at NIDA. I studied a Bachelor of Biological Sciences. I studied photography and worked as a photographer. I have a Cert IV in Professional Writing and Editing and edited books, theses and many other written things. I am about to embark on a KZfaq channel and affiliate marketing for a digital skills program. I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up and I haven't grown up yet. After reading the comments on the tyre pressure monitor, I will be installing one on my vehicle and horse float that I use for accommodation when travelling. Kind regards, Alexandra.

Happy birthday Megan 🎉 Great to see your spirits are up and the build is on pause due to weather and supply issues and not mindset. We have had similar careers in Australia including policing, hospitality, public service and periods of small business and side hustles. We had a gap year that finished in March this year travelling Australia, the US and Europe. Now back in the public service and living in Scotland in the U.K. One of us going through chemo for lymphoma cancer at the moment (diagnosed a month after getting back from our gap year) but curable and should be travelling again come January 2025.

Hi guys, happy birthday Meagan! Regarding tyre pressure monitors , they are great if you do a lot of dirt roads. As you can get a slow flat and keep driving and blow the tyre. I’m a mechanic by trade, been driving a b double, about to start a new job driving road train on a mine.
@lauriekibblewhite3 күн бұрын
TPMS - definitely not over rated. You can pick up a tek screw anywhere, get a slow leak, or just simply have a tyre go flat. On the car you can probably feel it, the van you won't know until it's too late. I've lost a rim because I wasn't aware a tyre had gone down, so it wasn't just the tyre to be replaced. I'm also a You Yuber - travel - very different to you guys - but I love your show, it's about the only one I watch, and I'm an old fart - 77 next week. But Megan, I hope you are having a wonderful birthday.
