Today we painted on 18x24" canvas using Thick Oil Paints with Liquid White & Liquid Clear! Colors will be listed below. I look forward to seeing your painting! Send in pics via Facebook Messenger to / officialpaintwithjosh
Bob Ross Colors : phthalo blue, alizarin crimson, midnight black, Van Dyke Brown, Dark Sienna Brown, & titanium white
Tools :
-Bob Ross tools : Palette Knife, 2" Brush, 1" Brush, Fan Brush (size 6), Half Round Brush
-PaintWithBram Tools : Script Liner Brush
Canvas Prep : I took a 18x24" canvas and Blacked out a stripe across the center in Liquitex Black Gesso and let it dry completely. The I covered the Black Section in Liquid Clear and then wiped it with Paper Towel. Then I covered the white sections in Liquid White Paint. I show you everything else on screen

I really absolutely love the way you painted this one. It is definitely a top 3 Josh painting! So very wonderful to see this viewpoint of the wild shore. It’s so beautiful, to watch. When I was a kid in NC I would lie down at the shoreline and watch all the zig zagging incoming waves.. best memories ever.

Are you using acrylics or oils? When you clean your brushes for the next step, what are you using, as it is off camera.

Oil paints. I use odorless Mineral Spirits to clean the brushes and my beater bucket. I have Shorts videos on how to clean 🥰

Thank you for your response. I have never tried oils, only acrylics. I am a bit nervous to try them, although I have some old oils that came from my mom after her passing.
