Today we painted on 12x24" canvas with just 5 Colors using Thick Oil Paints with Liquid White & Liquid Clear! Colors will be listed below. I look forward to seeing your painting! Send in pics via Facebook Messenger to / officialpaintwithjosh
Colors : phthalo green phthalo blue alizarin crimson midnight black titanium white
Tools :
-Bob Ross tools : Palette Knife, 2" Brush, 1" Brush, Fan Brush (size 6), Half Round Brush
-PaintWithBram Tools : Filbert Brush, & Script Liner Brush
Canvas Prep : I took a 12x24" canvas and covered in Liquitex Black Gesso and let dry. Once dey I applied liquid clear and whites with paper towel. Then added phthalo blue and green all over the canvas

Stunning painting. How do you stop the white paint from mixing with the under colours?

You want them to mix slightly. It's all about the amount of white. Little blends away quickly. Lot stays white

Hi Josh. First, I love the painting. So much so that I'm going to attempt it. I do have a question about covering the canvas. Is it necessary to put a coat of p. green then a coat of p. blue or can you mix the two on the pallette first and cover the canvas in the mixed color? Thanks. Love your paintings!!

You want them different so you'll get different colors when you go over it with the white.
