If I'm pressing 1500rpm, it will only literally drop .1 or .2 of a volt! Incredible. I think it'd push a 8k pretty well!😉

Well I assume you have 4s configuration to get the 12v bank. So are you asking how to hook up a bms/balancer? And I got a couple tenths voltage drop cuz I use an isolator. But over charging it is inevitable. Best you can do is a atleast 5a heltec balancer and top charge it once a month. I've been using mine about 6 months now I believe and I haven't had a problem🤷‍♂️ winter is coming and I live in Ohio s I'll see how it reacts to that?

@@1ohmwrecker I have a heltec balancer on it. I was wondering how the isolator is hooked up. You add a switch to manually turn it on and off? If so do I just wire a switch in between the 12v turn on wire to the isolator? I don't want to charge when I turn the car on. Just when I want to use it I guess.

@@drfoulcheesevirus yes, exactly. I just put a switch in between the remote turn on for it. I use a 500a recoil isolator. It was like $55 I think. Cheapest, most solid way to go. And I ran 2 runs of 1/0 ofc running to and from it also.

@@1ohmwrecker I really appreciate your help. What type of switch did you use? What size wire should I use for the switch? I was looking at that exact relay and also the stinger 500 but it's like $30 more 😂

You think it would be ok to run it without the isolator for a couple days? Wish I would have got an alternator with a set point of 14.6 and I wouldn't have to mess with anything 😂
