Putting the school from the second game there, where before was a cut-content robot, was brilliant. Filling "empty" spaces with stuff that makes perfect sense for the game world. Love it!

Wow, this is so cool! LBA was my gateway from Platform games to RPGs back in the 90s. Can't wait to play this masterpiece again. That zoom out at the end makes me realise how small Citadel island really was :'D

This is so awesome! I replayed LBA & LBA 2 about 1 - 2 years ago and got overwhelmed with nostalgia. To remaster this gem is a dream come true! Can't wait to play it!

The new Twinsen looks absolutely amazing, very modern! He has the features of a Chinese, an Arab, a Jew, a European, an Afro... as if all the nations of the world were mixed in him!

Will need to get used to it but eventually it looks really much better than I've expected after watching LBA 2 remaster images (that sadly have not impressed at all). This style suits the first game much better and having the world as a whole thing not separated into scenes with black void borders (and maybe even the possibility to zoom) is really great. Wish you to successfully finish the development of this pretty gem.

This is just my suggestion for the art tweak. I think the indoor looks pretty good as it is but regarding the outdoor settings, how about adding just little bit more details such as some grass or surface textures for and use some desaturated or exaggerate the color palattes as well as the lighting effect for better atmosphere? (it would be great if desert looks sunny and hot while Hamalayi looks gloomy and very cold) Zelda TOTK and Eastwards games can be a good example I think.

GIMME LBA2 AND LBA3 NOW!!!

The low-poly environments and most of the characters look quite nice, but I really don't like Twinsen's art style. I like the idea of a paper-like character à la Tearaway, but the nose and eyes feel off. On a more minor note, the design of the hands looks lazy, with the square thumb not matching the other sharper parts of the hand. Also, I hope you play test this with both old-timers and new players, because what we liked 30 years ago might not be acceptable nowadays in terms of gameplay. In particular the running/jumping animation feels too heavy (not responsive enough). Fingers crossed that you'll take the time to get this right. Might buy as a fan of the original games, but I'm not convinced yet. My favorite thing in the video is that the environments look more densely populated than in my memories, which is exactly what I'd expect: more life, more interesting characters with funny optional quests to give depth to this enchanting world.

I am glad that the game is being re-released, but I am very sad about how it has become more faceless. Just some kind of random mobile phone game. I would like the game to be improved, and not completely redesigned. I really liked the old color scheme: emerald, sandy, clay color… The prison was an unexpectedly pleasant combination of blue and some gray-pink color (in the new version it is green and purple - like a space laboratory). Now the game is full of all colors and it does not stand out in any way. I also liked loupoli with strict isometry in combination with textures. Now it's just loupoli with some kind of mood of playfulness and paperiness. The general style of the whole world has also deteriorated. In the old version, I really liked houses from the inside. Arches in both doorways and furniture. Again, a combination of cold green and orange wood. It reminded me the Art Nouveau style. Or, for example, a local bar decorated with sand bricks and marble tiles. Such rooms resembled something oriental (perhaps because of the patterned carpets). In the new version, these are just rooms. Yes, there are a lot of details, objects. Paintings and furniture have variations, ... but the whole style is gone, which is very sad. Now when I look at the look of the game, it reminds me of this Hello Neighbor, Tearaway , Psychonauts. And this in itself is not bad, but LBA had its own style, atmosphere and this is an important part of the gameplay, which I personally missed. ...well, the hero began to look off because of the eyebrows and pupils, but I can get used to it.

I was so excited when I saw that LBA was getting a remake. But then I saw the art style and I just felt disappointed. It's a shame... It could be so promising. Modern technology could bring LBA's world to life, but instead, the art style makes it feel like the graphics are a downgrade from the original. It has way better resolution, but it feels like it has less polygons and the are textures not as detailed as the original. Idk, it just looks lazy and too childish Remakes are supposed to be remakes, otherwise we would be better off with a remaster
