From the way you had your hair combined with the bit when you screwed up the cut it looked like you were making a Rey costume!! I stabbed myself under the cuticle with a cross stitch needle last night it hurt so bad 😤 this is what I get for making cross stitches for crimbo instead of buying things like a regular prole. The workout bit was so hilarious 🤣

OMG It totally looks like a WIP Rey costume there 😂 Ouch! That sounds so painful! I almost feel like getting stabbed comes with the hobby. I'm always trying to shortcut things. 🙄 I'm so glad you enjoyed it 😂😂😂

@@seamslikesarah I think getting stabbed by your own needle is God's way of saying SLOW DOWN THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN

I have found some great free or cheap patterns off of Patterns for Pirates or Made for Mermaids, seems a lot simpler than making your own pattern... I've tried that a few times and it just doesn't turn out right with the seam allowances and everything!

Patterns are definitely helpful! It has been my goal to start working with more patterns instead of free-handing things so often 😅 I know patterns I've purchased from online creators have always been way more clear/helpful to me than commercial patterns.
