Real bystanders would try to avoid the situation as they would be afraid to confront a kidnapper in person. It’s rare for someone to step in.

I am so impressed with these folks wanting to protect this child. They were alive and alert and stepped in. The woman actor did such a great acting job, I appreciated seeing responsible adults. This was wonderful.

Im sure that I’ll get major backlash from this & I love that they all stepped in, but why are we making these people leave? Put their asses on the ground & keep them until police get there!! They are trying to kidnap our kids & if they don’t get one, they’ll get another!!!

Tbh, I figured it’s because their brains are thinking of the child first. Like the child is already scared and the ppl helping are trying to be a safe space for the child. Also, you never know what kind of skills the kidnapper has and going straight for the fight if you don’t have to (esp if you can’t actually fight yourself) could put the child in more danger. But yeah I think it’s more about getting the kidnapper away from the child first & foremost. I agree with immediately calling the police though.

I especially love the look of total disbelief in the adult protectors; face, voice, body language, the “are you #$&** kidding me and this is NOT happening.” Extraordinary work. I'm proud of the little guy for refusing to go with the woman he obviously doesn't know. However, just to be on the safe side, I would stay right there with him until his Mom gets there, or until I can contact the police and have them take care of him. I would not let that little boy out of my sight again, until I'm convinced he's safe, either with one of his parents, or with the police! So scary!! But kudos to the little boy for doing the right thing!!!
