I worked at one as a department supervisor in 2010-14 and I think it was the best job I ever had. Seeing the children's shining eyes as they excitedly shopped was the most rewarded thing ever. Even though I quit on bad terms over how corporate was running things at the time, I'll still always have fond memories as an employee and as a customer.

MANiAC But, the man who made Bratz dolls made a fund raiser for ToysRUs. A lot of people on twitter are donating to it! *sigh* How could they just end something like this? This is the only way a child will want to stay young. Getting a toy in the mail or going to a walmart is not going to please any child. What will become of them? ;-; (Also, that isn't the reason it's closing. Shouldn't this video be enough to show you it isn't technology that's bringing this store down! And even if it was, you can only blame the parent. They are responcible for keeping a child innocent. Children only follow along.)

Most of the guys I know in their 30s and 40s are feeling like this too, its like that place was an actual friend or person who is passing, a place to forget your troubles now gone.... RIP TRU.

It is sad for Children today:(. This is an example of the fact that Children still play with Toys today and not just Video Games on Tables!! I pray that someone else will open up another Toy Store for today's Children. This little Girl and other Children deserve to have an America with a large Toy Store!!!!

That little girl is ungrateful. When I was a little girl, Toys R Us was not the only store where I bought toys. Target, Kmart, Walmart, and dollar stores were easy for me to buy toys.

Listen, either Toys "R" Us had a big good heart, and a magical place where kids could be kids, even with their Moms and Dads, and their grandparents too, just like Disney does. If you wanna see Toys"R"Us again, when you still live in United States, maybe you just come travel and visit to Canada. It still safe for now, NOT in United States, Australia, and United Kingdom. Even it's still got a worldwide of locations too, like France, Asia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, China, and Japan. This could be your chance to shop. It's your choice. So long.

I wasn't the least bit surprised that she wasn't happy when she learned that Toys-R-Us would be closing forever. That must've been so disappointing for her. I am surprised, however, that her brother wasn't the least bit bothered by it. He showed absolutely no remorse for giving his sister the bad news and making her cry like that.
