Laura Ingalls Wilder was born in 1867. She was 5 years old when her family left Wisconsin and became pioneers, riding inna covered wagon to find a homestead in the West. The classic series was turne into a weekly family show during the 1970’s, by brilliant Michael Landon. Both have been enormous successes, despite extreme differences. The books are eternal. The tv series takes tremendous liberties; however, it captured the heart of Family, and beautiful values.

little house on the prairie was a western series, it has been the most watched on the planet, in which it left a great mark in the 1970s. Perhaps that drew a lot of attention to viewers. It allowed me to feel fascination and captivation for the characters of this beautiful series. It was created by and starred Michael Landon. Blessings.

The role of Carrie Ingalls was played by twins as well, Rachel Linsay Rene Bush & Sidney Robyn Danae Bush. Their Dad was actor Billy "Green" Bush. The twins were billed as Linsay Sidney Greenbush though.

Amazing that Michael Landon purchased the property cheap for Little House not knowing it was a chemical dump owing to the cancer he died from. Alison Arngrim is the sister of Stefan Arngrim who played in ALOT of late 60s/early 70s tv shows….

Why did you wait until the end before you showed Laura Ingalls? I was about to unload on you for forgetting her but you saved grace at the end. She is what I considered the main player. Without Laura (Half Pint) I don't think the storyline would have been as good. By far one of my favorite shows growing up. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Let's be honest she's the star of the show, where else would you put her, if you put her at the start no one would stay for the rest of the video In an era of only 3 channels (here in the uk) you weren't bombarded with shows after shows, channel after channel I know my kids channel hop and don't really religiously stick with one program from start to finnish

Feedback - The music is too loud, makes voice hard to hear. Also the voice needs more treble, hard to determine all the words. Good work getting all the cast, then and now though.
