I love it that they took the time to find this precious little dog a good home. I cry everytime I see a homeless abused animal. He is so tiny and defenseless. I cannot understand how people treat animals bad. Their only reason for being on earth is to love us. I love my baby before myself. She's only here a short time and deserves all of me.

All of the people who cared for that little dog are so kind and caring. The lady that rescued him from the shelter, the lady who fostered him and fell in love with him and the sweet man who was just perfect for this wee dog. A family might have been too much for Bruno. This new forever home is just right. 🥰

Yep! Some dogs just need a quiet home. I adopted a blind, senior, small terrier dog like Bruno. I live alone and my house is very peaceful. Perfect for shyer senior dogs.

I’m in tears. I treat my cats like literal babies. I carry them, sing to them, baby them when they’re not feeling well. This just makes me cry. 🥺💜

I loved how Bruno fell asleep when his foster mom sang to him. So happy to see this old little man having a peaceful life with someone who truly loves him and chose him. The lady who sang the lullaby NEEDS (I'm being pushy aren't I) to create a KZfaq channel and bless us, and the rest of the world with her singing. It's quite telling when I know that I will remember her singing much longer than I remember that awesome little dog. I don't have a lot of money, but I think it would be well worth it to have the opportunity to give what little I could should she decide to set up a KZfaq channel (along with a Patreon account) with her singing being the focus of the channel. I could listen to her all day long! Don't be surprised if you see this comment as a reply to a few other comments. I really hope she sees this.

@@aleero7863 I do the same thing and to keep the rhyming scheme I sing "grr, grr, grr". There's also changing "fur" to "fluff" so that "ruff" can replace "purr".

U can tell he’s an old dog by his stature, walking, & never runs. He found his forever home even though it might not b a long time. Never ever seen one shake so much but love & patience got him through. The red sweater looked so good on him. The green wasn’t him

So thrilled Bruno found his forever home.he deserves all the love in his later years. It is a beautiful happy ending for him when other senior souls get overlooked because of age or health. I have devoted my life to adopting and age or health issues are no obstacles when you consider the love they freely give unconditionally Thank you all for sharing his story

@@BrunetteVignette Yes agreed. Nowadays there are homeopathic meds that can help his stiffness. Just have to do a lot of research. Also I noticed that he was happier with his new dad then the foster mom although she loved him and was kind, he wanted someone else. He seemed to respond more to the first shelter lady too. Perhaps she is an animal whisperer. Nothing wrong with that either. That's why they say the animal picks you.

I've seen this before in dogs with separation anxiety, not from people, but with dogs who are only attached to one person. I don't know if that was the case with him but that's where i've seen that kind of shaking before. He just needed to know other people would love him.

Just an FYI for really scared dogs. An old fashioned clock or watch that makes an audible tick tock really helps to soothe them. 🌼🐕 It mimics Mama's heartbeat. Seems to work for older boy and girl dogs too! Thank you to all the guardian angels of our furry friends!🏆

That makes sense, holding them up to your chest always works. I never even considered that it was the heartbeat that caused that to work.

That is so sweet I'm so glad you rescued him and got him a forever home that he will be happy in . It's so hard for older animals to adjust knowing they don't understand what happened to the first family they lived with but it's wonderful that someone's going to take care of him for the rest of his life but please have his back checked out for arthritis or any fractures because of the way he's walking and holding his tail or shaking a dog will do that if they're in a lot of pain too and licking. I know he was shaking cuz he was so scared but I would definitely have his back checked out good luck and God bless Bruno and his new dad

Poor Bruno….I feel he has been so broken, and no one really gets him! He needs lotts of close loving and talk to him!! Being afraid of life, shaking like a leaf just isn't fair! So glad he got Armin to love him. All involved are exceptional Humans! Thank you for loving him and making his life worth living! He looks happy enough.

Looks like Bruno may have some hip dysplasia/arthritis going on in his back end, especially since his tail is between his legs. Hopefully his new owner will attend to that, and he can then live out the rest of his best life pain free.

I have seen some truly heartwarming moments on The Dodo, but never more so than when Bruno's foster mom sang for him. The word of the day is "verklempt".

I have no idea what 'verklempt' means, but I agree with the rest your comment. I sing to my two Cats, but I do not have a 'Wow' voice like that sweet lady! Fortunately, my two Cats are not too musically discerning and they tolerate my sub-par efforts with grace - they don't run away and hide!

I'm watching this imagining how my 12 year old Chihuaha would feel in this situation.....if something happened to me and he ended up in animal shelter....the thought of it breaks my heart. Thank you so much for caring for and loving those who need it most. What goes round ,comes round.

Yeah. People should try to seek out a second home for the pet should anything unexpected happen to them. We rescued two cats and we aren't young now and I sort of regret it (plus a stray) as both of us have major health problems now. We love them but they will be devastated if they had to go elsewhere.

Wrapping the dog up will help when they are shaking. I get the feeling that he was extremely neglected. And You can tell by the way he walks that Bruno has arthritis, and probably needs pain meds. What a Great rescue! He needed a very compassionate caregiver. ❤❤❤❤❤

As the mom of a former scared and traumatized boy, I love seeing these videos of older dogs. My dog is 15 now and he's blind and diabetic but I will happily be his seeing eye human for as long as he needs me 💗✨😁🙏🏼

I have one dog who's 15 and one 12. The thought of losing either one just makes me very sad. I've had them both since they were first stop nursing. They are my life ♥. So I really do love dogs.

I cried when she sung the lullaby to him and he slept, she's an angel and so is bruno and everyone that helped rescue him. Armen is a lucky man to have such a sweet dog, the immediate bond between them makes it obvious that that's his dad.
