I’ve been to this place two years back. It takes 5 hours to drive down from Mumbai and 3 hours from the Mandwa jetty.

This video came up in my KZfaq suggestions. Since we had visited this place in Oct-2021, I am pasting below the review that I gave on their website so that it can help others make an informed decision. ----- Little Paradise lives up to its tagline of a place where families bond. With only 3 chalets, it provides peace and solitude and is perfect for a quiet getaway from the city life. The surrounding village is equally peaceful and great for exploring on foot. But a few observations from our stay deserve a mention- Safety - The place is manned only by the three-member caretaker team. There are no security guards and technically just anyone could walk right upto your door. Cleanliness- On the day of check-in, we found a live centipede hiding under the mattress on the floor that was put for an extra adult. Obviously the staff had not cleaned under the mattress when readying the room for checkin. Also, we were dismayed to see all mixed waste from the kitchen being dumped in one corner of the plot and left to rot, inviting stray dogs as well. A resort that thrives on its proximity to nature needs to be more environment-conscious. The wet waste can be so easily composted for use in the gardens. That brings us to the state and maintenance of the gardens which can definitely be better. Large parts of open spaces leading to the beach were lying neglected and full of weeds. Food & Service -The food was always freshly cooked, homely and tasted great. But we found some items like fruits for breakfast and dessert for lunch that were listed on the menu not being served till it was explicitly pointed out to the caretaker. Also, the paneer that was served on two occasions during our stay was the rubberiest and chewiest ever possible. We asked the caretaker to not make any paneer dish for us again. The meals were never served on time according to the time slots informed to us at the time of checkin. Every meal was delayed by 30-60 minutes. This would impact our schedule for any plan after the meal. Website information- The video tour shows that you can reach the beach directly from the resort but now there is an elevated concrete road between the resort and the beach. Reaching the beach now requires a fair amount of physical prowess to jump over the rocks. It would be especially be a challenge for senior citizens. The pictures on the website showed geese in the compound about which my daughter was very excited but was very disappointed when we found that there are no geese now. -----

Beautiful place. Why the misleading thumbnail? 3 hrs from Mumbai is Near mumbai?! Why not just say in murud? Even Pune, Mahabaleshwar, khandala are not so far, but v never define them as Near Mumbai.
