Little Richard passed away at the age of 87. We’ll always love him and his music. He is the architect, innovator and the originator of rock ‘n roll music, before the Beatles, Rolling Stones and many others. 😎🌟🎶❤️🎤🙏🎹🎵

Not True. The first Rock song was by JOE TURNER - Shake, Rattle and Roll in 1954. The Rock song that really put Rock into the spotlight was Rock around the Clock by Bill Haley in 1954.

Dan Livni u can’t deny Little Richard brought Rock n Roll out! Joe Turner and Bill was still slowed down with an Rnb sound, playing the piano slow 🎻 🎺 ... Lil Richard came out playing fast piano and banging on instruments ...Lil Richard came out in 1956 and put a spin on what was out in 1954...Nothing like him Dan

@@danlivni2097 Haley's songs were ok but there was one important thing missing. Black artist like Little Richard just didn't sing a song they sang it with soul and boogie. Black artist of that period had a unique style of injecting boogie woogie into their music. They went way beyond any white singing artist of the day. Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis were the first white artist to do so in that time period. R&R black artist offered us so much more than singing. Until this day we still can't boogie like our black brothers and sisters. You know what they say " White men can't jump " Not only rock but the blues styling were introduced to us by black artist like Robert Johnson. Little Richards and don't forget Chuck Berry offered us this new style. They are now iconic reminders of how music has evolved. Even to this very day we are influenced by the music of that period. Little Richard's and his contributions to music became infectious. A gay black man as well being treated as if he was not gay always amazed me. Little Richard and Billy Preston along with Jimi Hendrix on guitar jamming. Who the hell can tell us of such encounters? One man Little Richard. It's absolutely true. Bill Haley. I just don't think so.

He was in a terrible accident years before this, and suffered clinic pain because of it, having several rids in his legs (not to mention one leg was born longer than the other), and eventually he became confined to a wheelchair completely. Several comments regarding his dancing ability are misinformed at best. I was surprised to see him up walking, much less trying to move around to the beat. I'd say he did pretty well. In the end, he transformed his life and lived totally for God, becoming an evangelist and sharing a new message for a new generation.

Never knew of him or his music. I was of his era but too busy working to care much about rock and roll. Now 77 years old I know him. Better than Elvis, who I cannot stand or the beetles, I love little Richard for who he was and the music he made. Surely the heavens opened and embraced their newest resident.

@UCny2dBx8d58j7S7f09GrSGw The most honest statement you mad was you don't know me. Know as an African American Jeshua( Jesus is not his name) has done nothing for us the last 400 years. We own only one half of one percent of the wealth in this country. Now I know this "Jesus was used to subjugate us and make us docile. Now since you only know of a" hell from the Bible which was made by man and what you were conditioned as baby to believe I have to say you are incorrect. Hell wasn't originally in the Bible it was added later because it was found that it controls ppl. Read the oldest complete Bible The Codex Sinaticus and you will see. Now we know there was other religeous txt that predate the Torah and Bible by thousands of years that talk about God. Now you can believe what you want. I choose to research and rely on facts, reason, logic, science and spirituality. So these books that talk about God that predate the Torah and Bible such as The Enuma Elish,The Egyptian Book of the Dead,The 42 laws of Maat from which the Ten Commandments were plagerized from,The Indian Vedic scriptures, etc either God is confused or someone is lying. So what I would suggest what you do is go on your journey instead of arrogantly pressing your beliefs on other.Jeshua said the Kingdom of Heaven is within. He knew Christ consciousness is within. ISo if you get you concept of God,Jesus, heaven and hell from on a book that has flaws and inconsistencies such as Noah's flood and the Exodus which modern scholars and Jewish scholars say there is no evidence of than I have to be leery of anything that can be proven outside that book. Stop saying Amen. You are praying to an evil pharoah named Amen-Ra as well. He existed before amen. There also a resurrection story before Jeshua as well. So honey encourage to go on a journey of researching and vetting what you been "conditioned" to believe. That's you talking to you. Your higher and lower self. Remember Jeshua said are we not God's. You are God. IAM God.

Little Richard was raised 7th day Adventist and he struggled w/ his sexuality all his life an he admitted he was gay for many yrs he was from Macon Georgia an his dad abused him he died when Richard was just 20 an his dad before death was beginning 2 accept Richard but he was murdered by Richard’s best friend Richard went on an became an icon he did lots of drugs but through his life he handed out a book steps for Christ before Richard passed he finally surrendered 2 Jesus he said in an interview he didn’t want 2 burn in the lake of fire Richard was very talented an he learned 2 play the piano quite fast his fingers sailed over the keyboards but he loved playing an loved performing on stage he helped his mom an siblings out of poverty an his nephews traveled w/ him when he was on tour I can actually RIP Richard Penniman cause he is in heaven thank u Richard u were the architect of rock ‘n’ roll an u left behind a legacy

He’s got the most provocative lyrics definitely a crowd pleaser. Every time he performs he turns it into a concert live audience participation he is the blueprint for rock ‘n’ roll and he demonstrated every time he performs can you give us another chapter into the book?
