The scene where Seymour asked Audrey to marry him had the same camera POV as that when Wayne Szalinski told Diane how he accidentally shrunk the kids and then again confessing to her about having blown up Adam back at the lab in Honey, I Blew Up The Kid. Once again with that same camera POV.

The thing that strikes me the most from the clips is just how long of a shoot this movie was. If you watch the clapboards it goes from at least November of 85' to June of 86'. WOW. I assume Rick Moranis' next shoot after this was "Spaceballs."

note the high pitched voice and also if you watch Rick in the background, he appears to be moving faster than normal. This reveals the "undercranking" trick they did: run the film slowly through the camera, then speed it up later to make the puppet seem quicker and more agile. To help the actors lip sync properly, they played a slowed-down version of the dialogue and singing on the set.

This is why I want to be an actor. This is my dream job, and my recommendation if you want a similar experience is to take part in a play with a local theater group, as you will spend hours on end rehearsing and getting to know the rest of the cast and crew, becoming good friends and fooling around.

Shooting Movies are not really fun. LOTS of WAITING and LOTS OF TAKES. It makes some people get really mad. TV shows are even worse because they are shooting none stop and then if you have an audience while taping they get to see the take after take and they also get antsy, there is someone actually telling you as an audience what to do.

Rick Moranis was the PERFECT Seymour. I myself have played Seymour twice (once in high school, and a second time in a community theater production) and I studied EVERYTHING about his performance and watched the movie OBSESSIVELY. I've seen it onstage of course too in NYC & London, but Rick's performance is STILL the best.

it was mostly likely made of foam rubber, as many puppets of the time were and if it is still around it's probably hardened and if touched would just crumble to just.

I'm pretty sure that the puppet used for the "Feed Me" song and the baby puppet are actually still around somewhere! I think it's in a museum or something, I've definitely seen a few pictures of them outside of the movie.
