Honestly....one of my favorite things about this show was the friendship that the ladies formed. Shatava was the epitome of class.

I don’t know what you do for a living but I think you would be an amazing counselor (Individual, couples). You read people and situations so clearly. You are great at it.

I totally agree with you. There is a time and place for everything and I love how Mike still went after her to discuss it and apologize. All couples need to learn how to have disagreements. I think Shea was wrong for going to 0 to 💯 when she found out he was in the room with the door locked. She should have at least asked him about first. Shatava never had a chance, Mike and Shea were connected since day one. Mike is genuinely a great guy!

As much as I love Shea and Mike, my concern is still that none of the men on the show actual took the lead and made a choice or decision. Instead they were forced or manipulated. This, in my opinion, was the root of most of the arguments on the show. So my question, is it realistic to expect men to take the lead in making a decision or asking in a personal perspective, should I as a women have to force or manipulate a man to choose me?

I feel he should have let her walk. I know the heart wants what the heart wants but.....it does not mean all the time we should be with said person. That move shatava tried using her grandmother's illness didn't work out like she thought it would. It was really her last stance effort. Sympathy does not equate to gaining closeness. Then messy stormy...but shea already knew where she stood with mike. She just guided Mike to confirm it amongst the group. And mind you shatava had been taking digs at Shea because inside she realized Mike had already chosen Shea. Her bowing out was commendable however I think she was banking too much on Mike not choosing Shea because of the children issue rather than Mike choosing her because he was into her(shatava).

Truly I love this exchange the most because it shows the real. The uncertainty, pridefulness, insecurity, vulnerability, submission and love. Understand this was not an ultimatum, but a reality check for Mike. Your night thoughts have to align with your day thoughts and you will be consistent in both. Mike being manly was expected but showing his vulnerability to still apologize was so beautiful. Shea expressed how she truly felt instead of remaining mad enough to walk away shows growth. This truly is a couple in the making to accept being Ready To Love, so it can evolve into marriage. To stay strong and lasting begins with being able to have understanding, to support, knowing how to compromise and willing to ask for forgiveness even when you don't think you are wrong. What about Mike making her feel less than in public in front of all those women? Like it was stated before he made her feel confident in their connection. If he is dating Shea why be in a bedroom with a close door when there are other women and men, and the woman he is dating is right in the house. I agree not challenging anyone in public. Hey Little Black Book! Great review, as always. I think Shea is given far too much credit. Shea and Tiffany are the most arrogant. She was back peddling. All that tough talk...when she walked out, she wanted Mike to stop her. She looked at him and did all the posing, etc.. If she really wanted to leave, she should have left. In addition, if she was so confident, why feel so relieved when Shatava gracefully bowed out? Mike and Shea just have a sexual/physical attraction and are smitten. They are incompatible. If they both looked differently, this wouldn’t be what it is. Esp if he is really serious into Ife, she doesn’t fit in that lifestyle and gender role. All these people are just going by who there are the most physically attracted to...and they tolerate and force something despite lack of compatibility. They make the same mistakes over and over again. If they are looking for a good time, fine, however, this is redundant. What the show should have done is let them all have mini dates or innocent activities with each other to get to know each other from the spirit and not just the physical. I don’t see any of these couples working. Much love.

I ask because there seem to be this concern from fans about it some have even suggested that they don't think Shea should be with him because of it? others also think she should not have his child because of her past experience. Why hold on to past hurt doing that will block future blessings. I hope she lets go of her past not just for this relationship but for herself and healing and peace. I hope they do get together because he seems like the right guy at the right time but only she can determine that. Going slowly will give them both the chance to find out.
