Read ‘A Rite on the Edge.’ Clergy, committed churchgoers, and the upper classes say baptism. The unchurched and lower classes say christening. Some use the terms interchangeably.

As a baby, born in 1987, I was christened, Ashleigh, Suzanne Piccinino. Now is an adult, 36 years later, I’m wondering if I should not get “rebaptized, “as I Collett in the Southwest Baptist Church of Kimberling city, Missouri? I guess it’s up to me, but my mom had gone to a Catholic school, even though she wasn’t cat. I have always loved God and Jesus, so there’s nothing wrong there. Thank you for sharing the video.

Wow. No wonder the world is so messed up. We name our youth before before they're christened.
