On this video we discuss why Amy chose to buy a LIV bike, and why I chose Decathlon. Which bike is right for you depends upon a number of factors. Why are you buying a bike? How often will you be riding it? Where will you be riding it? Will you be travelling long distances? Finally what is your budget? Amy and I both enjoy cycling but we do it for very different reasons and that's why our bikes are so different. Although I did make a few changes in order to make riding together a little easier.
LIV bikes aren't very well known unless you are an experienced cyclist. Part of the reason for this is because they are specifically made for women. Decathlon's bike brand Triban isn't very well known in North America because they only began opening stores here in the last decade. What both brands offer is excellent value. Both bikes in this video share some of the same premium features you'd expect to find on far more expensive bikes.
