@@benjaminvis You and I definitely find similar watches appealing. This watch has basically become a bit of a daily beater for me. I wear it cycling or fishing because if it gets a little scratched up it doesn't hurt the look of it. That Stowa is a simple but refined timepiece. It's the case design that sets it apart.

I went with the AD15 right from the design sheet (it may turn out to be too much, but perhaps I'll like that) and after seeing Peter Kotsa's video on the last bronze AD8 I permitted myself my 'second go' at the dive genre (I had admired the AD8 series until then, but his video effectively just sold it to me. I am also a sucker for a good moody green, though on Wise's website it looks a lot more warm and lovely than in Peter's video). I had them sent to a future address, so they're waiting for me there. The AD7's also appealed, but I felt unsure about the damascus steel. This enamel version (or the reddish brown) might be an excellent choice for me too. But now first I'll have to find out how the ones waiting for me will suit.

@@benjaminvis Amy loved the AD15. She was really trying to get me to buy it. If I wasn't as strict about my 6 watch limit, I would have. You will love the AD8. They are purpose built but also classy in appearance. True dress divers.

@@WhyWeBuyIt sounds very encouraging. I have no such strict limits, but know I would benefit from having them! I think my collecting is still firmly in an explorative state. I'd like to hone in qualitatively, but I'm not sure yet where that will lead me.

@@benjaminvis Yeah it does take some time to really figure out what appeals to you most. I have a series planned where I examine what really appeals to other Collectors based on their Collections and the answers they provide to a few questions.

@@mujahidsolomons8766 It looks like everyone who owns one absolutely loves it. Very few watches shine like a T200. I only have one watch that has as impressive a polished case as the T200, and it costs 6 times as much.

Thanks for watching and honestly telling others to try watches on is the advice I give most often. I try watches on when I'm not even planning on buying one. I just like to get an idea how every watch looks on my wrist. Even watches I won't ever buy.

The T200 is a JDM release so it might be difficult to find one to try on depending where you are. Casio Oceanus has authorized dealers in Canada and the United States now. You can see some of their models if that works. I've found that even though the T200 and S100 are JDM models the salespeople at Oceanus dealers tend to own them personally. Hope that helps.

My wife bought me a Citizen Stiletto solar quartz coming up on 18 years ago and still going strong, I do expect the capacitor to fail sometime in the near future but its a testament to the this genre of watch!

Nice to meet another true fan of the T200. I get surprised looks from other Collectors who know me as a watch enthusiast when they see me wearing it. Then I tell them it's my favourite watch and they're shocked. I have had some very impressive watches in my collection. You will see a couple coming up on the channel. So they just don't get it. Unless you've owned a T200 you just don't understand.

Did you look at some of the domestic models that aren't advertised online? Unfortunately I didn't have the time to take a really good look at them.

@@WhyWeBuyIt They only has a small number of watches available. I think they must have been redoing the area they normally were as it was closed off for work. They had a small stand near to the Volvo dealer when I was there. There was a Flyboy model I couldn't find online that looked really nice
