Professor LÚCIA HELENA GALVÃO gives one face-to-face conference a month, for charitable purposes, at the New Acropolis school in Asa Sul, in Brasilia. The money raised is entirely donated to our social assistance programs: CRIANÇA PARA O BEM and IPEARTE.
This May addressed a more than timely topic - in this time of so much disagreement and polarization that affects all our human relationships: LIVE AND LET LIVE - how to live in harmony with those who think differently than us.
In this video, Prof. Lúcia Helena Galvão analyzes the importance of getting along with those who think differently than us. She emphasizes how diversity of thoughts and opinions can enrich our lives and help us grow.
Explores how philosophy can help us develop a more tolerant and understanding attitude toward others, even when we disagree with their ideas. It also looks at how empathy and active listening can help us build healthier, more meaningful relationships.
Watching this talk can help you develop more sophisticated social skills and get along better with those who think differently than us. Discover how philosophy can help us live in harmony with others and find meaning in our relationships.
