I wasn't born when it came out, but I played it many times on an emulator when I was 8 years old, I have a huge affection for it and I still can't believe that this remake will exist!

Yes! I been going around comments saying this lol. I remember I paid $79.99 USD plus tax at Sears because it was the only place that had it and they always charged more for games. But you're right, the standard MSRP was like 75 dollars. Idk why they charged so much for this game?! But I loved it and got so much out of it.

My childhood!! I rented this game at Blockbuster not knowing what a Mario RPG would even be like as a kid; maybe 9 years old. I still hum the Forest Maze theme or the Booster Tower theme. I remember solving the puzzle in the ocean. Man, this is awesome.

It was my childhood. And I can’t even read English nor Japanese at the time but I finished the game with the English player’s guide. I couldn’t explain how excited I was to my wife when I saw that they are releasing a remake of it. I think this video sums it up

didnt think this was gonna happen in my life time... kinda crazy always loved this game and played the hell out the one darkkefka modded... but after seeing super mario rpg armageddon they can do so much more with dlc and add funny cameos of other characters as bosses after the main game. they have so much they can do with that... I hope they still are able to use final fantasy stuff if so they could use both pokemon and final fantasy and make something truly fking amazing

LOL One of my first RPgs, rented the game several times, played on emulators, still have it on my cellphone nowadays, make no mistakes gentleman, this is a masterpiece, one of a kind, full of nostalgia and square charm. Sad I don´t own a Switch to play it now, but I´ll wait my chance to play it

I just thought of this- maybe a 360° camera would he worth the investment. That way we could watch anyone in the crowd, or watch the screen to know what part of the Direct we're at without having to have you edit it over the video
