I stayed at the Cotton House in Barcelona before and after a Celebrity cruise in the fall of 2023. I liked it a lot - good location, great breakfast and bar. Got upgraded precruise. Will be back in Barcelona in October 2024. Good choice if you are a Bonvoy point collector!

I’m hoping we can do a group cruise soon. With our Honor Flight Schedule and annual trips to Australia to see the grandchildren, it becomes a challenge to mix other TRAVEL. It is definitely on our bucket list to meet you. Long before other KZfaqrs were prevalent it was always my friend Gary Bembridge or my friend Morgan (from Morgan’s very unofficial travel guide ). My husband laughs at me. WE really enjoy both of your channels.

I just booked our first Viking River cruise for 2026, to pair with the eclipse in Spain. I'll book flights and hotels as soon as they're available, before prices get out of hand.

two years ago we did a Seabourne cruise to Alaska and had a women cabin attendant.

My Holland America cruise to and from Japan this year cost me about $400 per day including HIA with gratuities as a solo in an Ocean view room in mid-ship.

Still on my Avalon river cruise through 8 countries from Prague to Bucharest, so catching up! Then flying on to Edinburgh for a land tour of Scotland May 2-11 with a friend in a small all-female group of 12. Sorry to miss both the group cruises and the Silversea Antarctica cruise I was supposed to take at the same time as you to Antarctica on Silversea! Niece set her wedding date right in the middle of it, so had to postpone mine to March ‘25.

Just saw your response about the Orange Party on the Eurodam. My wife and I were just on the Nieuw Amsterdam at the beginning of the month and we decided to go all out - me in an orange 3-piece suit and my wife in an orange dress with orange sneakers. We did the Orange Party "pub crawl," which started at the Crow's Nest and went around to four different bars on the ship, terminating at the Rolling Stone lounge for the main party. I didn't know they were going to do this but they held a "Best Dressed" competition at the main party and we won! It was great fun and there were varying levels of orange worn by the partygoers. Definitely one of the highlights of our cruise (along with a Retreat cabana, which was well worth the premium price).

Alright, I just need to say that the intro music/song really makes me wonder wether I suddenly teleported back to the 1970s... As someone born in the 1990s (and thus not "young" anymore), the music still reminds me of TV-series my grandparents used to watch. Of course, take this comment for what it is, I'm sure alot of older folks feel at home with the intro, but I certainly feel it does nothing to combat the idea that cruising is for people who are retired or about to retire... I am sure Gary has looked at the metrics and concluded that the music fits most of the people who watch his live streams (I also like them and will continue to watch), but the intro gives me the feeling of middle-age crisis I haven't had so far and feels older than even Biden does. Again, this is not at all about the content which I will still watch all off, but I will be skipping the intro as fast as I can to avoid feeling like I aged 30-40 years 😏

All of my room attendants have been male EXCEPT for Norwegian Epic which had two women in the hall we are in. I think that job would be difficult for most women handling all of those heavy bags ...

The Westerdam completed dry dock on February 3, 2023. The Eurodam completed dry dock on March 4, 2023.
