Great idea to disc to a certain point, dig targets, then lower. Dig more. I will have to try this technique at my old trashy parks.

Thank you, I learn so much from you, even though I use an XTerra Pro, your concepts are the same.

I have to admit it drives me a bit crazy that you step on your plugs before swiping over them a second time, I swipe first and if no beep then smush, so I dont have to dig it back out if there was something else in there I missed

The detector will not hit a target if the plug is not stomped. I have showed this a few times in my videos. I can bury a coin, not stomp the plug, swing over it and no response, stomp the plug and it bangs on it. The gap between the plug and earth creates a disconnection, the ground/soil is much more conductive when the plug is stomped. I think this has much to do with high recovery speed/reactivity and minerals in the ground.

You can eliminate the junky Sound of 2 good Targets next to each other by raising reactivity to 4 or 5. You wont be getting depth If it is loaded like this anyway.

I was just wondering, have you ever found a silver coin in a coin ball?
@PaystreakSuperfreak7 ай бұрын
I have never encountered a coinball with a silver coin. I have had silver rings form balls but a ring has a hole in the center for the dirt to hold a ball together The soil tends to turn black around very old silver coins. I think it is just copper or brass that forms these balls. Every soil is different.
