Calabash said that there may be a small elliptical coil coming soon for the deus 2. I hope he is right.

I can hear iron just fine. You don't need technology to make you not dig. When in doubt break out the Compadre(concentric).. . Whites Shooter coils work too. Coil position in relation to targets in the ground will expose trash, but not always.

Hi, I will probably never use anything than the 9" coil. All my other heaters feel Heavy. FT 000 ..got it👍

I think the 11x13 did superb that day, I was very surprised at how many coins I was finding. I still way way prefer the 9" coil for getting those same targets I got with the 11x13.

I totally hear where you are coming from. Once your arm gets used to the Deus 9" or 5x9....it is hard to go back to any other detector.

Hi, did you notice any behavioural differences between the 13 and 9inch coils with version 1.0? I saw a few people mention they had falsing issues with their 9inch coil but not with their 13. Seems kinda odd

I think those others may be onto something. I got many many coins with the 11x13...way more than usual for that beat up park. The 11x13 ran very very smooth for how trashy that park is. I have more videos from that hunt with the 11x13 coil. I got more coins than trash with that coil that day....bizarre!!

im with you on my 13x11 on 1.0 it was a dream ive now gone to 1.1 on the 13x11 and it was not as enjoyable on teh same field as 1.0 mayb i just had a bad day but somthing is going on

For some reason that 13" coil is great at unmasking even better than 9".

That could be!! I will have to use the 11x13 coil mnore to make a call like that. I did notice it was performing extremely well in that park on that hunt. I was very impressed!!

When i am over target i always pick up my coil higher and it tells me how deep is my target. If you pick up your coil 1feet high and u hear your target its not gonna be very deep

Some detectors have pre amp, audio response or an audio gain feature to identify the depth with the tones.

11x13 coil. I do not hunt beaches but I would get big coil.

I see a lot of other creators say they love program 3 for hunting around iron but also those same saying they hated v1.0 🤔

I understand both sides. I just went to a bed of nails I know very well where I never had the v1.0 but had used previous versions there, the D2 falsed very very bad, was not able to dial it in...just weird. did not have time to figure it out today, I will!!

@@PaystreakSuperfreak Would be interesting to see how the 11x13 does in that spot only to see if there is some kind of falsing issue that effects the 9 and not the 13.
