I don't want to mislead anyone. The worst thing I can do is make a video and lie about my first impression and experience of a product or service.

The owner told me that because 2011 had tight tolerances, coating inside would cause fitting issues. I told him that if you recoated it on top of the original coating, the fitting would be very tight. But if you strip the original coating off before applying the new layer, how would that have fitting issues? The owner has yet to reply. That led me to think that they don't strip the old coating off; they recoat on top of the original coating. I don't want a coating service like that, so they are not getting business from me again. Nor would I recommend them to my friends.

I like these guns but they should switch for a better finish option like a salt nitride. I’ve never considered cerakote a real finish for a firearm
