2:07 I'm a moderate 1980s shredder who has been hacking for decades... (I play some piano and can fingerpick a bit too). So I started learning chicken pickin' about 2 years ago and was stunned at how hard it was... Honestly, it took about a year to get comfortable: stick with it everybody! It will arrive eventually.

What Fractal Axe-FX preset are you using?

The only problem with a pick is if it is not thumb it takes 2 fingers---listen to matteo mancuso who uses no picks but fingernails and gets the same results.
