Some of the comments on here are crazy you don't qualify from southfield if your a lesser angler ive you looked at the names that go to this place. It's not a bagging water it makes you think about what you are doing and it's crucial you make the right choices at the right times when a pond or even ounces make the difference between winning or not its vital you make the right decision. Look at the recent winners of big events here lee kerry Steve ringer the best two feeder anglers in the world lesser anglers don't win here. Its a fair playing field because it can be won from any peg but you've got to get it right. Not every match is about bagging big carp or loads of f1s it's the variety at the top level witch separates this sport from the rest

I swear the bulk of the fish in there know when matches are on and swim off into the canal for the day. Wants about 10 Tonne more fish dropping in.

Nice try dave, I didn't like the look of the place as soon as you got there, it's to open for me. They are so big if the fish are not in your area then you have no chance.

It needs stocking with fish ....its quite simple ...i have fished it many times and i am not afraid to say that i have fished carparks in many a town centre that i have caught more ....fact ..shelf dam fished better than this in 1976 and the water level was very low dearly as low as scamadam dam whe the M 62 crosses the top of it ...oh yeah ...the motto is water fish . Fish water ...fishermen /woman ...fish in water . Water ..with fish in it . .for woman anad man ..people persons boys girls ..men... woman ....who enjoy fishing ...people ...water..fish ..safelt ...so put some fish in the water ..its quite simple ...water fish . Fish water .. we all love fishing...it makes plenty for yhe economy and does good for the environment....its a win win situation...its not rocket science...fish water.. Bait hooks tackle fishing enjoyment sunshine rain . Food for fish snd people everywhere environment money taxes cash fishing good fun enjoyment...hello hello
