I'll be very surprised if Cal does not retire at the end of this season. He just looks and sounds exhausted. One of the best teams he has ever had and which had some swagger early on has completely lost it. Purdue has lost 2 games. Why? Because they enter every game KNOWING THEY WILL DOMINATE THE OPPONENT. We think we are hot shit because we can "compete" with anybody. True champions raise that bar a lot higher.

This is ridiculous when I think of Kentucky and the amazing people there I think of grit and I think of toughness. Cal needs to instill toughness and I can’t believe how he is the second highest paid coach in the NCAA and hasn’t made a final four since 2015. I mean come on man the stats speak for themselves.

you mean the team Cal has built? your a idiot, defense dont get players to the league, offense does. Cal can't magically give them heart. However not playing Z more, or even platooning is clearly on him. mitchel hurt not playing hurt us, at this point i'm just hopeing the players get together accept responsibilities for the effort on defence, and bradshaw gets lost somewhere cause he simply is over rated and under weight for the duck in's to ever stop. few of these 5 stsr freshmen care more about other things like getting to the league then #9 unfortuetly. This one and done buull shit and the transfer, etc is killing the college game. Some wants that banner but for some UK is just a pit stop. F the pit stop huys that dont care about championships

Yeah, he had 3 7 footers and yet only used one. What should have happened was use Reed and Reeves to shoot a three and The three 7 footers to rebound for a put back. But no, use the 6-8 small forward in tight coverage to get a dunk through an alley-ope.

Cal is trying to teach the young men how to play in the NBA and be NBA ready. That's why we have 24 players in the NBA and why we get these players... However...he is being paid to win NCAA championships or at least compete for them, and it seems that is secondary to him. Which is why he won't play zone defense. 4 or 5 of these guys will be in the NBA and be fine, but that's not what Cal is being payed for by UK.

What an absolute shambolic performance from Cal & his Wildcats tonight. Horrible defense, allowing 2nd chance opportunities & horrendous execution down the stretch. Why on earth did DJ suit up if he was barely going to play any significant minutes? Why was Rob our best offensive threat sitting on the bench with a chance to win the game? Why in the hell do you draw up a lob play with 13 seconds only down 2? These careless mistakes & clueless game planning is the reason Cal will fail to deliver another championship this season. I was utterly disgusted & appalled with what happened tonight. 😡

Calapari and his coaching staff simply don't run offensive sets. Gonzaga clearly exposed Calapari and his coaching staff. Kentucky plays NBA All-Star type basketball. Throw up three's, and plays NO DEFENSE... If you've watched an NBA All-Star game lately, then you're watching who Kentucky has become. In an NBA All-Star game there's NO set plays, NO Defense, and players NEVER box out, they allow the closes player to the ball to rebound without being contested. The scores are usually in the 100's (both teams), and which ever team miss the most three's or Layups, that's usually the losing team. Basically, Calapari and his staff are teaching NBA style offenses and defenses which doesn't work well against well fundamentally coached teams. And the worse thing for Kentucky is their Bigs are just tall, (NO REAL SKILL SET) only Big Z is skilled enough to make a deference (he played professionally in Europe). ...time for a change, Calapari MUST go!!
