In what could signal a significant diplomatic shift, Iran and Pakistan have called for resolving the Kashmir issue through dialogue and peaceful means "based on the will of the people of the region". India, however, has not been mentioned in this statement. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has concluded a visit of Pakistan, during which, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif brought up Kashmir. Though Sharif's demands were met with silence on Raisi's part, this statement indicates that Kashmir remains a key point of discussion between both countries. Though India and Iran have close relations, Iranian clerics have occasionally stirred the pot by meddling in the Kashmir issue. While Arab Muslim states appear to mirror India's position on Kashmir, Iran's position seems closer to Pakistan's. What explains this proximity between Iran and Pakistan? Should India be worried? Thank you Bharat for taking care of the shoes and cloth sizes. I am from Nepal and getting my shoes size is always a problem. I have to wear always a bigger size of shoes to fit my flat foot. I read an article in which the writer called Mr. Modi a good orator. Now this quote " Zendagi ke saht bhi, zendagi ke ba'd bhi" is really amazing. It shows how he communicates with masses. If he treats all Indian ethnic and religious minorities equally, fairly and justly, he is going to be the best prime minister not only in India, but also all over the world.

Yes, as usual you are absolutely right in assessing the situation. Just one statement does not change the situation. But still we must be wary of Iran's extending a hand of friendship to Pakistan. Pakistan needs Iran's money and probably oil. As for Iran it is possible that it wants a peace on it's eastern front because if it is anticipating worsening of Iran-Israel conflict it can not afford to have Pakistan tickling it's eastern front. But let us be wary. If Iran is such an unpredictable partner, buying oil (if it is cheap) is ok but is it wise to enter into long term commitments like developing a port and be at the mercy of it's government?

the foot problem is true these shoes are ill fitted either you have to grab a bigger size and it would be loose around ankle or forced to wear a tight fitted one and that lead to problems like the nails will cut your skin i had to do operation to dead my nails

Factually wrong report by palki on some points , first thing is that water source of punjab and Sindh comes through Kashmir , even if nuclear war has to be fought over water it will be fought with India , so to say that few papers and signs by indian parliament or SC has changed anything is utter optimism . Second khomeni was never the supreme shia leader by shia clerical hierarchy which included Iran and Iraq . Third there is shia population in Kashmir who figure in Iran policy on their own too , fourth Iran was source of spare parts in 1965 for Pakistan , fifth Iran is aligned with Russia post revolution , sixth it is not that Iran is enemy of India but Kashmir is a Muslim issue and their liberation prayers are said weekly along with for Palestinians from Senegal to Mindanao .. Pakistan Iran have to watch skies from Israel . But Pakistan is ally of Saudis not Iran

A tribe in NorthEast India still follow Jamindari system. The Kuki tribes. Their tribesman doesn't have land holding rights, only the Chief has. If the Chief is not happy with you, he can expel you from the village. Thats why everyone wants to be a Chief and they keep expanding their territories and villages only to bring them in conflicts with many other tribes for a long time. Some Chiefs rely on immigrants for cultivation since he claim to be the owner of huge swaths of land.

What everyone is not saying about proposed inheritance tax is that it will only apply to Hindus. All minorities have their own personal law and would not be subject to it. Secondly the Congress party brought in inheritance tax after independence to supposedly encourage equitable distribution of wealth. It was abolished in 1985 because after Indira Gandhi's death her heirs would have had to pay the tax. So it was abolished to help them and not because of any national or social interests.
